*sees RN gal coming towards Front Desk* Ah, quick, find something for me to do to look like I'm hard at work. *grabs one of the containers of badges to tear* I needed to restock them anyway in our little holder. sweatdrop

What was the last thing you printed? Is there even ink in your printer?
Just made a bunch of copies of sign-in sheets for the residents.

Do you go to concerts? What was the last one you attended?
It's a rare occasion that I do. I attended a filmed version of Hans Zimmer's Live concert in Prague. Otherwise, the last concert I've attended in person would probably be Taylor Swift's during her 1989 tour.

Do you shop online? With your own credit card, or someone else’s?
I've done a lot more lately than I used to. My own card.

Who’s your best friend? How long have you known each other?
Amber (since 5th grade), Lynnsey (since 7th grade), Lisa (since Kindergarten), and Melissa (since college)

Who was your first boyfriend/girlfriend? Why did you break up?
Jeremy. He wasn't too clingy for my taste and after awhile I started feeling more like a parent to him than a girlfriend. I didn't need that stress in my life, so I let him go.

Have you ever gotten your nails done? Or do you get them done regularly?
I've had them done professionally once. I had received a gift card for Christmas last year but I didn't get around to using it until Fourth of July time. When I work at the theater, I avoid wearing fingernail polish because 80% of the time I'm working in concessions... and with the amount of cleaning I do, they would just get ruined. I made an exception with this because I just wanted to get that gift card used up and not have it sitting around on my desk anymore.

Have you been outside yet today? What were you doing?
Yep. Walked from my house to my car, my car to work. Then I helped push my co-worker's truck up the slight incline the road has, so my other co-worker could pull her car over to jump start it.

Do you have or want any tattoos? Of what?
No tattoos. Don't want any. I like looking at what others have done though.

Do you remember the first time you ever drove a car? Who were you with?
Yep. Tried learning how to drive stick shift with my Dad in his Rabbit. Despite multiple tries between his car and my Mom's Jetta, I ultimately decided to stick with an automatic, which I was training with in my driving class.

Do any of your friends drink excess amounts of alcohol? Do you?
No. We're pretty good about drinking. And I'm not much of an alcohol drinking; mostly because I'm quite picky on what I like and dislike.

How many pairs of shoes do you have? Are they under your bed?
Um... I've lost track of how many I have now since I've gotten a few simply for cosplays. They're all in my wardrobe.

What exactly is under your bed? Is it a mess?
Two plastic containers holding bed sheets. Then a shoe box I've converted to hold my cosplay accessories.

Have you ever been in handcuffs? Why, exactly?
I have a pair of plastic toy ones.

Have you ever had to be put to sleep at a hospital? Why?
No.

Do you actually have a calendar on your wall? What are the pictures of?
Yes. It's got cats on it.

When are you planning on moving out of your parents’ house?
Whenever I can find a place I can afford with my budget.

Tell me about your day today.
It's a bit boring... but nice at the same time.

Have you ever been on a cruise? How many? Where did they go?
No.

What was the last thing you purchased for yourself?
Some items I needed for a cosplay I'm debuting at the anime convention I'm attending.

What was the last thing you purchased for someone else?
Some Christmas cards I'm planning on giving people this year. I'm excited about them, once they arrive.

How about a favorite book?
Yep.

Do you have a significant other?
Not at this time.

Have you taken your Christmas tree down yet?
It's not even Christmas time... xd

When was the last time you took a shower?
This morning.

Right at this moment, 2... because I'm here at work, lol.

While I like the color, it's not my favorite.

What kind of music do you mostly listen to?
Pop.

Ugh! I have a resident that's doing his usual visit downstairs around the 3 o' clock time, which means my patience gets worn thin. Why? Because he continuously repeats the same thing over and over again. Like right now he keeps asking me to call up his Mom but I keep telling him he has to wait since he just tried calling her himself not that long ago. Just because she didn't pick up when you called doesn't mean she's suddenly going to call when I try. Plus there's no reason for me to do so when you have the means to do so yourself.

I think the way he asks for things bugs me too. Instead of politely asking for me to do it, he's always Do-this-for-me with a loud, commanding voice. And sometimes he'll say "I'm sick of it!" if he doesn't get his way.

Or he says "Come and talk with me for a moment". Once in awhile, I might follow through with his request but in the end, I usually get the same result. He'll ask to talk but then never talk when I do. So, I usually give some excuse of why I'm not able to because I don't want to waste my time. Might be a bit sad thing to do but everyone's aware of it. In fact, I just had another resident state the very thing just a moment ago: "No because you never say anything!"

Do you like to sleep in?
Yes.

Is your bathroom fairly clean or quite untidy?
Clean.

Do you stack dishes in the sink or try to wash as you go?
At home, I stack until there's enough dishes to do a load in the dishwasher. If I'm at the theater, I try to wash them as I go, if I have the time to and able to be away from the concessions stand long enough without worrying about a customer coming up and interrupting me halfway through washing something.

How often do you vacuum and dust?
Vacuum whenever the floor starts looking too dirty. Dust... eh... not as often as I probably should.

How often do you change the sheets on your bed?
Every few weeks, I guess.

If you have kids, do you pack lunches or send lunch money?
No children at this time.

Do you have at least one ‘family meal’ at the table together?
Yes.

Do you live with family, roommates, alone or with a significant other?
Living with my parents at this time.

Do you have pets, and if so, what kind?
The only ones I have are the ones I've "borrowed". Haha! In other words, the cats (especially the particular long timers I've gotten close to) at the animal shelter I volunteer at and the cats here at the Assisted Living are like my pets. And I think they see me as an owner in a way. Or something along those lines.

Where do you work?
Movie theater. Assisted Living.

What do you do there?
Depends on what I'm scheduled - box office, concessions, or usher. Front Desk Receptionist.

Do you more enjoy or dread going there?
Depends on the day. Sometimes I enjoy it. Other times I wish there was something that was better suited to my interests and desires of the ideal work setting.

Do you think you’ll keep this job for a long time?
At some point I would like to stop working at the theater. And I'm starting to feel a tad bit worn out from having to work as the Front Desk Receptionist; I've almost considered asking if there's a possibility I could switch to being like a Programs Assistant since I've enjoyed assisting our Activities Director so much with activities and events and the like. And it's possible doing that could allow the possibility of having a work schedule that's more to my liking (i.e. no longer working weekends).

Do you get along well with your co-workers?
Theater - I'm not as close to a majority of my co-workers now because it's hit and miss on when I'm working and a lot of them are new folks. And when I am working, it's usually with the managers, which I work pretty well with since they're mostly the long-timers.
Assisted Living - Definitely.

Do you ever hang out with them outside of work?
Theater - No. And I'm not counting the husband of my best friend. XD

I've hanged out with our Activities Director a couple times awhile back. And then there's the staff dinners I've attended.

How would you describe your boss?
Theater - He gets on my nerves sometimes. He's a bit too much of a salesperson for my liking, especially when he decides to commandeer any of my concession transactions by doing his loyalty card spiel.

Assisted Living - They're awesome.

Have you ever been “written up” for something?
For minor things at the theater.

What’re the best things about your job?
Theater - Free movie tickets, discount in concessions, and being able to get some of the movie posters we've received over time.
Assisted Living - Nice paychecks. Awesome people - staff and residents.

Are you close to your immediate family?
Yeah. Maybe a bit too close for my liking; sometimes I feel smothered by them and unable to live my life the way I want to.

Do you know all of your cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.?
To an extent, yeah. How close we are changes over time.

Are you adopted?
No.

If so, have you thought to or tried to find your biological parents?
N/A

Do you have children, and if so, how many and how old?
No.

Do you think you have a “black sheep” in your family and who?
I might be the one to an extent. I didn't really go into the Christian lifestyle as much as my cousins did... and I've embraced interests that a majority of my family may look unfavorably upon. It's why I don't always share what I've done with family.

Do any diseases run in your family?
Hmm... not really.

Are you related to anyone famous in any way, and if so, who and how?
I'm related to the Grandpa on The Waltons. It's an old TV show, so most people probably won't know what it is.

Which family member are you closest to?
My parents.

What’s the best movie you’ve seen in the past year?
Past year? Hmm... Wonder Woman was pretty good.

What sort of TV shows do you like?
Sci-Fi/Fantasy tends to be a common theme among a majority of the shows I watch (i.e. Doctor Who, Supernatural, ONCE). Or based on a book series (i.e. Game of Thrones, Shanarra Chronicles, Outlander).

Who are some of your favorite bands?
Maroon 5

Do you play Wii Guitar Hero, etc.?
I've played it like once at the first anime convention I ever attended. I tagged along with some of the other folks who attended the Sailor Moon meet-up/photoshoot over to the gaming area and played some games with them.

How much of a computer geek are you?
I grew up with having a Computer Programmer as a Dad. So... you tell me? Haha!

Do you or have you ever written fan fiction?
Yep.

Do you like to play or watch any sports and which?
I don't watch any sports. It's once in a blue moon I'll watch Dancing With The Stars - usually because there's a particular celebrity that's on there that I want to watch their progress.
