The Wedding Ceremony of Zach McClure and Elainya [first post

[Menegil]

Menegil smiled, as some of the guests woke up and paid attention.

"And may eternal darkness fall upon thee if thine oaths art broken!

In order to show and prove the world that the bond you share exists, two rings have been crafted. One is for the bride, gold and saphire, that symbolizes the purity and goodness of her intentions, and the dedication that she shall gift her husband with, and. And one is for the groom, silver and ruby, that represent the man's fiery, yet pure spirit and the love and dedication that he shall gift his wife with. May these jewels represent the love and the bonds that unite thee, and may they always be borne in your fingers, to remind thee of thine commitment to one another."

As the priest finished his speech, the page brought the two rings the priest spoke of, and displayed them to the bride and groom. He stood there, waiting for them to take the godamn jewels, so that he could run to the nearest shop and get some candy.

Ah, the most important part of the ceremony. Alfirin grinned.  

[Zurgi]

Zurgi sniffs at the gorgeous sermon that Menegil has performed, and looks in awe upon the rings.

*smiles and sniffles with the teary eyes.*  

[BirgitteMo]

Birgitte smiles at the sermon that the priest had just finished giving, and tears up at the thought of the bride and groom finally being together. Suddenly, she wonders what she'll do when the bridal party leaves the room, and sneaks onto the far end of the nearest bench.  

[Zach McClure]

Zach took the ring and delicately put it on the finger of his precious, as he mouthed "I love you" to her.

menlith sits up a bit straiter to get a better view of the two beautiful rings, thinking of how much work they must have been to craft

Seeing the rest of the soldiers exit. He stood finally, no longer hiding. Turning, he walks out of the room, behind the rest of the exiting soldiers (or following those whom exited).  

[Niere]

Niere holds Zurgi's duckies close to her and a smile beams across her face at the shear beauty of the ceremony and at the happy couple.  

[Elainya]

Elainya feels the power of the ring's magic upon her finger, and she knows that now, truely she is bound to this man for eternity. She takes his ring, and in turn places it upon his finger. "I love you," she mouthes back to him.  

[Zurgi]

Finally she gave up and pulled out a tissue from her bag, dabbing at her eyes. "How sweet.." she murmered softly.  

[Falathrim]

Falathrim finally recovered from the shock. He though to himself that, without two golden rings, it wasn't an Eldarin ceremony. Then he realized that Zach and Elainya weren't Elves.

Sweet and merciful Eru, Falathrim can be a dumbass sometimes.  

[Niere]

Niere whispers to Zurgi, "Can I have some of those tissues?" She points to herself and the ducks.  

[Menegil]

"You are now husband and wife." Menegil solemnly stated. He then turned to Zach;

"What in Arda are you waiting for, the End of Days?! Kiss her!"

Menegil then backed away, and with a wave of his hand, the Elven soldiers marched outside, ready to perform the sword bridge.  

[Zurgi]

Zurgi held the box of tissues out to Niere, and pet little Ringo on the head.
