Damned Woods

Syra was so excited to ride Kain in his dragon form. She just kept smiling trying not to get too over excited. She then remembered she was a little afraid to fly in open air but she didn't let it show. She just wanted everyone to hurry and get that was going so they could take off.

"AH FINALLY!" The fruit of her labor. well, more like cartfuls of her labor. The light haired girl looked over her stolen feast with glowing red eyes, she knew no animal or monster dared to come even CLOSE to her. She was a Chimera, not some regular old monster or person.

And thats all she needed to have, just food. She eyed the clothes that lay in her hide-out, she had to move, to many people in teh Desert around this time. Silly nomads. She didnt seem to mind, the Sun on her bare skin sometimes burned so much she could not move for days without pain. Even in her true form she felt hot and sluggish, and her hunger died.

Mika just nibbled upon bread, tore at meat, scarfed down pastries and drank wine til she was a bit tipsy.

"this...this is the li..life!"

"Yes, poor things smell of death." Her voice seemed like a low purr beneith the sound of her bones cracking. The sound was slightly desturbing to those not use to it, but to Daisy the slight pain was amazing. It ment she could let loose a bit. Her arms and leg extended out in front of her as fur erupted from her skin, and withing seconds she was a large tiger once again. The sound of breaking twig in the darkness of the woods made her ears perk forward, and she crouched down low to the ground. There was a group of them now, and they were rather large. Wolves were always fun to play with in her book. Daisy's lips pulled back into what must have looked like a snarl, but she ment it to be a smile. When the first wolf peeked it's head out of the darkness, growling with hunger, she sprang forward to takle the animal.

James growled, but remained standing where he was. He was an unconventional fighter. Instead of attacking, he decided to take on the full blunt of Daisy's mist vanishing spell in order for her to concentrate more on her fighting. His emerald clasp glowed even more.

If a tiger could sigh Daisy would have when the weight of the mist spell was lifted from her body completely. That James guy was really good at this. Now that she could consentrate more on the game she threw the wolf that had latched onto her front leg a few feet away, snapping it's neck in the process. There were four more, now all circling her. Ignoreint the pain in her what would be arm, Daisy leap forhard, takeing them down one at a time before they were all down. The large tiger limped back to the clearing and changed back into a girl. She looked up at the two people through her pink bangs and laughed, clutching her arms where she had been bitten. "That was fun, you should have played too."

James hissed, seeing her wound. One thing he hated was seeing women wounded. He knew that he was being sexist by always thinking that women should be protected, but he couldn't help his nature. Seeing that most of the mist had dissipated, he let go a bit of the magic that he was using and instead transfered it to healing her wound. Words of different sizes and font, all having to do with healing, surrounded her wound like a band and sunk into her skin, leaving only a pale scar from what was the bleeding wound. He was surprised to discover how strong the mist spell was, and how much of a toll it had taken on him. He let the rest of his magic go, not wanting to over exhaust himself. A little mist returned, but not enough to hinder their journey. He sighed and sat down on a gnarled tree stump to rest.

Daisy's blue eyes widened as she watched the words wrap around her arm, and the wound start to close up. She would have giggled and remarked on how cute the words were, but she forgot that he had taken the spell from her during the fight. She held her right hand in front of her belly botton and whispered the chant, "Fydanc uv dra cgo yht fydanc uv dra knuiht, lusa du sa huf." Takeing back the spell from the man. "Thank for that. Now can you tell me how to get out of this forest? It seems I've gotten lost here some how."

Naomi

Naomi watched as Daisy turned into a tiger, and killed some wolves. She saw how viscious one could be when fighting. There must be a way to let the wolves live without them harming us, Naomi thought to herself. Her eyes flicked back to Daisy, sporting a quickly healing arm. A fire burst inside Naomi. 'They're only animals, for pity's sake, they didn't know any better,' she shouted, dropping down to the side of the nearest dead wolf. She stroked the fur, matted slightly but still soft. A tear trickled down her cheek, and as a drop it dripped onto the limp body. Naomi had never felt so much sadness in her life, not even when she found out where her mother was. The sad feeling drove Naomi into standing up, and silently walking away from Daisy and Mr Winters.

Daisy blinked at the girls reaction. Being a Bastets she had always lived with the rules of the wild. Survival of the fitest. If those wolves were attacking some other being they would have killed it with out a thought. She raised an eyebrow turning back to James. "Have I done something wrong?" She asked, head cocked to the side.

Naomi

Naomi carried on walking, trying to block images from her mind. Trying to keep herself together. Trying hard not to cry harder. Naomi has always had a soft spot for animals, even if she wouldn't admit it. She stopped, holding her stomach hard. 'Evil... evil people...' she sobbed, falling to her knees. She hung her head, her unusually white hair covering her face. Naomi stared hard into the ground. Watching the wolves get killed scared her, if not terrified her. She gently rocked backwards and forwards, finding comfort in the slight movement. Mother, did you feel like this when you went mad? she asked deep inside her mind. Naomi felt stupid for thinking it, but she was sure that she got a reply, as though something tiny was trying to talk to her. Naomi thought again, but nothing answered.

(( Been a little busy lately.. and assuming everyone is on. ))

Kain smiled and turned his head back to look at them. 'Hold on, the liftoff is kinda rough.' Kain raised his abnormally large wings and beat them down in a powerful push, kicking off with his hind legs he lifted from the ground and took off. Rising over the trees easily, he flew off in the direction of the castle.

Syra braced herself as Kain began to take off. She smiled even more as they were now soaring. She closed her eyes as she let the wind rush around her and through her hair. She reopened them and looked off in the distant as they were now on their way to Deralo Castle.

Zoreal shook his head, coming out of his zoned-out though coma, and absent-mindedly climbed onto kain and clutched his back hard.
Milo, however, had been listening intently, but had not spoken, just listened.
He climbed onto kain as well, and held on to his fox as the took off.
