 The foxbun ran, and damn did it run fast.
As fast as it's little legs could take it.
Head down, ears pulled back, it could barely see.
It was running blindly, dodging left and right,
Ducking under low brush and jumping clear over dead trees.
Breathing heavy and loud, the foxbun made it into a clearing.
With no crashing sounds behind it, it figured the chase was over.
The little creature skid to a stop, thinking it was safe from it's pursuer,
And instead bumped into something solid and wet.
Eyes opening up wide, the snack shook in fear.
It watched the nose pulse and then lift,
Followed closely by lips that curled into a growl.
The foxbun had run away from a hungry owlcat,
and straight into the lethal jaws of a yawning bear.[ Link ] |

Personality
This buck will be more than likely found somewhere sleeping. When he's not sleeping, he's lazily wandering about looking for something tasty to eat. Getting him to do anything energetic is a challenge, but once he's convinced, he can find himself having fun, until that is, he realizes that he could be spending his time sleeping instead.
It is not uncommon for the poor guy to fall asleep in the middle of a task, and sometimes even while still in the company of others.
He's not exactly polite, but he's kind and would never do anything to harm anyone, but that may be just because it would take much too much effort and energy to do so.
