"I wont, don't worry" Her feet continued to kick happily as she awaited for Vence to order. Surprisingly he ordered smaller then she had suspected, then again they were going to be on a boat for 2 days and it wasn't morning.
When the waitress left, she looked to Vence and took one of his hands on the table and began skimming her finger over his palm. "I'm wondering if there is anyway to evaporate the water out of a human's blood...not that I'd use it but it could come in handy" She focused at a minimal level as to not harm him in anyway. Kinda wouldn't be nice for Vence to be a test subject, however, holding his hand wasn't a bad thing at all.
((But you get it from the internet...lol. Can you do a defrag? I dunno what else to do though I wouldn't recommend traferring files considering you can send viruses to others.
xD I kinda don't like how new gaia has gotten. all together. Too many noobs...))

"Actually, there is, but..." Vence watched as Mayloo idly fidgited. what Mayloo was asking about was actually a more serious topic than she probably knew.
"It's one of the forbidden arts," Vence finished, looking back up to Mayloo. "I was told by my teacher that controlling water in a human environment, that is, within the human body, is forbidden. It was once used by a cult, and the power somehow drove them mad, and they ended up killing each other. There are other forbidden arts too, like necromancy and retrochromancy, or traveling back in time."
He might have said moe than he wanted to, but if he was going to teach her about magic, he might as well do it properly: explaining the do's and dont's. There was at least one forbidden art for each element. That was just how it was.
[well, it's only the files that make the computer work that are corrupted, really. I don't think people that make viruses really care about MS Paint pictures or Word documents enough to bother with them. rolleyes I think defrag. was tried by my dad. No effect. and yes, far too many n00bs. 3nodding I like the noobs, ones that actually try to learn, though. But the n00bs...that's a different story. stare ]

Slowly she allowed his hand to slip away from her grip as if it were poison now. It made sense what she heard, it would be a rude thing to do to take the hydration of a human away. It'd be like live cremation.
Mayloo shivered, the subject warping her thoughts into a morbid state.
Necromancy...don't play with the dead, retrochromancy, don't alter the past cause it will change the future. "Hm..." To lighten the mood, she had to comment on something. "I wouldn't bother changing my past, especially if it's lead me here...with you" Her last to words were sort of whispered, but they were just as strong in meaning as the rest.
"Ehehe...foods here" Mayloo said before any questioning took place. The waitress placed the previously balanced dishes and drinks onto the table. "Thank you" The smell of it made her stomach grumble alittle. "This seems really good" Taking a fork and pulling out a small spoon full to blow cool before testing. "Yum, it is"
Curiously watching Vence though, she didn't bother touching anymore of it for awhile to let it cool down
((Hm...I'd take it to get looked at or do some serious research on how to find it. Do you not have virus blocking stuff?
Oh yes yes, lol, i call good noobs newbs and every other noob, noob. lol, you know what...I don't get why they do the double zeros in n00b. xD ))

[Ah, because N00bs are the people who think they're always right, tend to godmode everything, and also can and will occasionally use l33t speach. I can use l33t, but I have never used it unless as a practical joke. whee ] [yeah, we have antivirus stuff, but I guess it somehow bypassed the firewall and avoided detection the antivirus program set up. I know where the irus is, for sure, but I don't know how to get rid of it. There's a bunch of files on your PC called "system 32." They hold the files that run your PC, basically.]
Vence was clearly able to see how his words had taken a toll. He really didn't like seeing people like this, but, well, it was essential to know. On the upside, Mayloo tried to bring back the former cheeriness. It was never healthy to dwell on the negative, after all.
"Good timing," Vence commented on the quick arrival of the food. "I think my Chicken Parmesian is better," Vence said, smiling as he took a bite of his own food. It was pretty good, but he didn't know what her alfredo tasted like....his food was proably better. But, when did it matter? food was food. Pleased with that fact still present, his smile remained.
Somehow, his good mood reminded him of a piece of info he had left out. The positive kind.
"Oh, I forgot to mention, though those arts are forbidden, there are still people who use them. Thus, there are ways to defend against them. Those, I might be able to give basic knowledge on." Better chance of staying alive. It was a positive thing, right?

((Your such a n00b, What antivirus stuff do ya have? AVG is top stuff and downloadable trial. =D Maybe it was the trojan...just like history, it slips on by unnoticed. Really? We have FAT 32, lol. ))
Vence seemed to be boosting about his meal choice. Kinda funny really. "I'm guessing you favor that pasta very much huh? Even if the Alfredo is waaaay better" Mayloo sent him a smirk of good humor before another blush found it's way to her face. Dang...she was getting off for so long without any fluster. To make it seem more normal since she didn't turn away, she simply disregarded it as the food's fault. "Heh, I think there was some accidental pepper in here. Alittle hot for my taste." Taking a sip at her tea, Mayloo once more ate decent sized bites.
"Wouldn't that man be an example? The one who...ya know...murdered a family...?" He wielded an element of shadow, which to her just seemed forbidoned in general. "As long as your willing to teach what you know, I'll listen."

[Regardless, my pc is crap. stare any programs would just get infected like the rest.]
Vence had to pause a moment before answering that statement, about that guy. He had been baout to say yes, but on the other hand...
"Well, using shadows isn't neccesarily a bad thing. I mean, shadows are always present, just like any element is always present. But it's how you use it that changes it's characterisics. He was using it in a evil way, yes, ubt there are those who are not sorrupted by it." He too ka sip of his water and another bite before saying anything further.
"So yeah, I can teach only a little bit. I'll see what I can do, though."
[arg, I had to type this out twice before I could post it. stare ]

((sorry to hear... >.< to bad my dad ain't there, he's good at fixing comps))
She listened apathetically, unsure of what to say really. Shadow was everywhere...which could drive anyone to wield it incorrectly if you thought aboutit. Certain places lacked water, sometimes even decent soil. Fire, well that was a tricky one considering some were gifted enough to create it within themselves in a way, like Vence. It was like he pulls something from the air that sparks on his hands.
"Good enough"Mayloo continued on eating her meal. The sooner they were out of there, the sooner they'd be on the boat with many things to talk of.
((Still errors too >.< oh well. Did you hit back or something? I hate it when that happens..lol ))

[internet randomly closing has become more frequent. I can even type a proper post. crying Yeah, I'm gone all day saterday. I'll try to go to the library on Sunday if they're open and have my fun there. I need to do some SERIOUS typing up of notes and stuff for my guild project. It's coming along pretty well, actually. 3nodding ]

[Sorry for taking so long to return. whee busy and all.]
Vence nodded, too busy to respond as he took a bite of his food, followed by another sip of his drink. It was only beginning to occur to him he really didn't understand the full potential of a water-user. Sure, he knew fire's very essence, but that didn't serve him one bit of good at all.
He wasn't about t rush anything, of course... but neither was he going to take his time. As far as he knew, there wasn't much. Not if his memories-that-weren't-his served him right. That guy... Zevach... he was a dangerous man.
"Umm...so yeah," Vence said, unsure of what to say... plus, he had some food stuck in his teeth. That aside though, he continued. "Is there anything you'd like to learn in particular?" It was a bit awkwad for him, asking about what one wanted to learn. It wasn't like he went around teaching people. Contrary-wise, this would be the first time he was taking on a teaching postion.

((oh xD oops. lol))
Mayloo kept an eye on Vence carefully as he nodded as he thought. All this thinking wasn't very pleasant during a nice lunch together. Especially when it had something to do with the world's possibility of falling into chaos.
Her gaze refocused on him when he spoke up once more. "Not that I can really think of at the moment. I now realize I'd have to balance out pros and cons of each move. But thanks for the offer." With a small smile, she added "I will take you up on it eventually" A sip, another bite and more time ticking by.
Her feet were still kicking, this time with a sense of ansy-ness.
((lol, Ansy-ness is now a word))

[Oh? and what does this word "ansy-ness" mean? whee ]
"Well, that's a relatively easy concept to learn, really. But if you think you need some time, by all means take it," Vence replied, shrugging as he took another bite of his food. He was almost done. Too bad...it was a good chicken parmesian.

((Anxious, lol))
"Thank you" And as if reading his mind she went on. "Is there anyway you can do take out? Maybe ask to store it on the ship?" Hopefully he knew she was referring to the pasta he savored.
"Oh I can't wait to start the journey for real!" Her hands stretched upward for a moment before returning to the table to finish off her food with abit more speed while remaining a neat eater.
