The Naga's Scales.

The coin landed and bounced off of the ground before rolling to a stop completely on edge. "The probability of that occurring is ridiculous." He said shaking his head. "You have to think about it like within your range probability doesn't matter, you should try going to a casino or something."

The door opened and closed quietly, but only those looking near the floor would have seen the small ball of fur wearing a coat enter the bar.

(That's right, folks. I have returned.)

Xaec sighed as he climbed up on the stool next to Hogua. He couldn't find the friends he'd made, and the symbol on his tail was getting darker every time he looked at it. He figured he'd do what he'd seen these people do when they felt like he did; drink whatever came in those large cups until he was allowed to start yelling at whoever walked by, at which point he'd be asked to leave. He wasn't sure that's what people came to these places to do, nor did he understand why someone would. But he reasoned, 'When in a city you've not yet been to, do as everyone else does'. "Drinkings, please." he said, not sure who he should be asking.


(Sorry about my extended absence. Sorta lost touch with computer, and when I got it back I wasn't sure how to come back in. But I have taken my opportunity during the apparent calm.)

Viva walks over to Xaec. He takes the creature in in a causal bored manner.

"What would you like to drink?"  

[Tarrant le Sorcier]

"What...?" Xaec was confused. What did he want to drink? He thought they just poured the same drink. "Umm...what drink good?" he asked, scratching his head.

Viva puts a amused grin on his scarred face. He shifts his weight causing his long black jacket to billow out around his legs.

"Whatever you could possiably want we got. All you have to do is think of it and it will be prepared according to your tastes."

why is he having such a hard time getting the message?

Hogua's eyes could only show the utmost disinterest in the direction this conversation seamed to be going and had decided to either end it or move it someplace productive quick fast and in a hurry.

"so you don't have any answers for me,in which case know that I have no intention of aiding you with anything good day"

Hogua turned to the alchemist he was talking with before

"sorry for allowing the interruption,where were we?"

Xaec pondered for a moment. "Umm...what you give people who feel...opposite of happy?" he asked. "Xaec trust your judgment. Give Xaec gest thing for opposite of happy feelings."

Kane was... confused. Which he rarely was. "I'm giving you answers... What kind of questions do you need answered?" He said sitting down on the hard wood floor. He much more preferred to sit on the ground.

"Kid..." He said carefully. "Your powers are strange... They have no essence to them. I can't use anything here it's not even energy... It's nothing." He plucked another hair. "This is just as much human as my hair or yours."

Viva shrugs then walks back to the counter. He swipe a hand over the panel on the counter. Shortly after he comes back with a glass of a greyish brown liquid. He sets it down on the table.

"Is there anything else I can get you?"

L.M Metal Ninja took a seat waiting for further instructions from Lutia to arive. Her small plushified form almost to much for her to bear.
"Hideous...."

"no...no you haven't"

he turned to the interloper once more

"I don't care about the things I can do,but I'd like to know why is all,you haven't given me any clue...."

he turned to the alchamest again

"so....you can tell no difference...well ok,go from there,what could cause such an anomaly?"

Xaec shook his head, reaching forward and grabbing the glass with both hands. "Nope, this good." He took a sip, trying to keep his mind open to whatit might taste like. He sipped, paused, sloshed it around in his mouth for a few seconds, then swallowed. His eyes suddenly widened, and he began drinking it rapidly. Before he even knew what had happened, he'd drained the whole glass. He placed it back on the table. "More of that, thank you please." he said.

Viva makes no move to take the glass. Instead his eyes glow white and the glass is suddenly refilled. He gives a slight bow before returning back to the counter.

Najah steered the staff to a stop, hovering over the elegant building known as the Naga scales. She peered behind her, giving a cheesy smile to Chase and a nod to Raziel.
"The Naga Scales!" she announced happily, and started to descend slowly.

Viva looks up form the counter. His eyes narrow as he sense Three powerful beings approaching. His hand strays under the counter to the pulse rifle hidden there. He waits pateinlty to see if they were a threat that need to be taken care of.
