Breaking Point - A TV Lover's Worst Nightmare

[Zahzi]

"Name something else." Alan replied as they were nearing a corner of the hallways, meaning Abagail was about to reach a wall.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"No!!" Abagail barked, before she looked around herself, learning from the study. When she saw the corner, she looked back at Alan with a glare.

Before he could respond, she made a run away from him, going around the corner and further down the hall.  

[Zahzi]

"Wrong way to the dinner hall~" Alan called out, chasing after her, a grin on his face.

Abagail continued down the hall, regardless of Alan's warning that she wasn't going towards the dining room. When she heard his foot steps after her, she started to run faster, now searching for possible diversions and escape routes to throw him off.

Alan continued chasing after her, humming a tune as he followed.

Abagail suddenly whipped around a corner, getting out of Alan's sight.

Once she around the corner, she threw herself up against the wall and pressed against it as much as she could, hoping he'd run right by her.  

[Zahzi]

As expected, he did run right by her, not even noticing she wasn't in front of him.

As soon as Alan ran by, Abagail snuck back around the corner and jogged to the nearest door. Quietly, she opened it and slipped inside, and quietly shut the door.

"Heh.. Dumb pervert.." She giggled as she turned around. What she saw put her almost immediately into shock.

On the back wall was a large map of the estate and the surrounding are littered with dots of multiple colors (all of them marked off the property). Most dots were bunched together, but some made it far away from the manor.

Looking at the map, was two dozen slaves, who all stared back at Abagail like deer caught in head lights.

"Alright...." One of the slaves sighed.

"Who left the door unlocked..?" he asked, looking at the others.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"You." Another grunted.

"You were the last one in."

"What... What is this room..?" Abagail stared at the map, in confusion as what it was for, and in awe at it's size.  

[Zahzi]

"Ah, ******** it..." The Slave groaned.
"....It's a betting room Alan let us build..." he sighed.

"All the dots you see are how far we all have gotten before we got caught."

"Most of us do it for sport. We reach the Town Hall, touch the door and make it back, we get the pot." another chuckled.

"A betting room..?" Abagail looked confused, staring at the map more.

"Why..? What's the point..? Wouldn't you rather go home?"  

[Zahzi]

"Are you ill..?" One of them asked, looking at her.
"We get large bedrooms, five star meals, a ******** HOT SPRING, and a s**t-ton more, and all we have to do is a few chores!" he laughed as one walked up to the screen, pointing at a pink dot right on the road outside of the property.
"..That's you."

Abagail frowned at the others. She didn't understand their apathy or their game. How could they not want to home to their families? How could they pay a game on their freedom?

How could they stand Alan the Molester?

Abagail batted her eyes a few times when a dot had been pointed out.

"...I GOT OUT WAY FARTHER THAN THAT!"  

[Zahzi]

"Nnnoo....You only got that far before the cops got ya.." They replied, tapping the screen.

The door behind her opened, and then slowly closed..
