Transforming into another form wasn't all that unusual to the tatzel ghoul, but realizing that Christmas Town as well had something similar was interesting. They had a system of defenses beyond the tiny critters in the machines too, it seemed.
As instructed, Levi followed suit taking up her two baskets and following West towards the sleigh. White ears flickered at the sound of the tiny clanking metal balls which provided a delightfully cheerful tone. Heeding Red's warning, Levi pretended to ignore the large deer, but looked about the sleigh.
In honesty, riding this thing looked like it could be fun. Her tail swayed in accordance with her level of enthusiasm at the prospect of climbing into one of these herself and having a go at the reigns. It was like a glorified version of a skelepony wagon from back home or something, minus the wheels. Didn't Professor Malcolm have somethin' like this back then? That time... invisible critters leading a sleigh filled with hot chocolate and smelly blankets. Christmas Town was certainly proving to have its uses, Levi had to admit.
You interested? If there had been two, she would've raced him around this town in a speed demon second. She tilted her head suggestively towards the sleigh with a smirk at the wrath demon. Interested?

Lumi was a whirlwind of activity, Julian could barely keep up, much less slow her down. Before he could say anything about the sleigh, she had grabbed his hand and run him over. He almost tripped at least once, his run not the same style as hers was, but he managed to stay mostly upright and thankfully not lose any of the candy in his baskets. He was quick to put his two full baskets into the sleigh with the others and without even a moment’s hesitance he grabbed Lumi and jerked her away from the vehicle. She was bouncing around again and those reindeer were dubious at best.
"Lumi, you n-need to calm down and s-stop hopping ‘round like that," he said, his accent slipping a little further as he spoke, though his gaze wasn’t focused on her. It was trained carefully on the reindeer. Having been attacked by similar creatures before, he didn’t want her upsetting them and causing problems.

Taking Lumikki's question s an actual question, Red answered. "What you hear are slay bells. Soon you'll see two reindeer pulling a sleigh. Their sleigh is not to be confused with slay --" Red broke off, then shook her head. "Nevermind, you would only see the difference on paper. And no, you don't."
The professor began moving baskets around the sleigh, securing them as the reindeer stamped their hooves impatiently. She looked up as Millie skipped forward, giving the girl a disapproving look before returning to her task.
As soon as the professor was finished the pair of reindeer lunged forward and dashed off, swiftly disappearing into the trees. Red tsk'd quietly under her breath. "All right. We're leaving." The mysterious orb was held up and shaken. This time the little orb lacked the smaller bits of white inside it. Instead the orb seemed to turn black as a familiar feeling of Fear wrapped around them, dumping them back into Halloween. Specifically, back into the gym.
Red replaced the artifact under her cloak, addressing them once again. "If you're interested in recovering Jericho, return here in several hours. If you know of some who are interested in helping out, bring them as well. This is not going to be a picnic. If you are wary of the dangers then I urge you not to come. This is going to be a delicate operation."
She glared at the students. "In addition, should you decide to come you will be responsible for your own selves. Deal with it. You're dismissed."
Quote: +1 RP point for writing 800 words. +1 RP point for completing one basket. This ends class~ Retrieving Jericho will take place in another thread; be sure to watch for it in the "Events" subforum! Thanks for playing!
