[RAID] Final Frontier

"I think Gauntlet's about but I'm not sure -where- right now... I sent him off to be a scout. I don't think he's in this room..." Tambrey had a glance about anyway, as people talked of ghosts, but her electric ghost didn't appear, nor show any sign of being in the room with them. "No ghost from me." She confirmed.

No ghosts? Crap, did that mean they had to open the bulging doors? He really didn't want to. Silently debating himself on the merits of just saying '******** it' and leaving all bulging doors alone regardless of what he'd said earlier about not leaving stones unturned Aulus shone his flashlight into the room and peered inside.

One, two, thr.. "Aulus?" Lex moved over to the other and the open door, wary. He wasn't moving inside the door and Glit wasn't reacting to any noise. "Anything in there?" He shone his flash light inside. "And no ghost pokemon."

Room N- Faleen/Switch/ Hayes?

Kailee looked when instructed to. "Ahhh... looks it... We could just knock?" She smiled making the smallest of jokes. She frowned thinking a moment. Hmm... Well then... what to do to help with that. Find an over ride. Carefully she let out Fossil, her cubone. "Fossil... can you check those wires and see which one is live?" The ground type wouldnt be hurt by the electricity but could probably tell.

Fossil nodded and moved to go start finding wires.

[Room P]

Tama whistled at the state of the door. He wasn't going to try to open it without orders, but he was curious on the state of the other doors. If they were in the same state or if they varied in degree of damage. With that, he once again cautiously moved to another bulged door until he was told otherwise, shining his light onto it.  

[Rocket Agent Hayes]

[Room N - sensor]

"Pii.." The Pikachu tipped his head back, inspecting the panel from ground height. "Pika cha!" A stubby arm waved Hayes over.

"What's up?" the blond asked, and turned his attention briefly to the door and sensor. "This thing might just open when the right signal completes the circuit," he mused, "so- hey, good idea," he grinned when Kailee suggested testing the exposed wires in the hall.

In the meantime, the elite looked down at his Pokemon. "Probe it," he suggested. "Gently."

Sparks flickered around Switch's cheeks as he sent an exploratory current of electricity toward the sensor.

Aulus

The room into which he shone his light was at one point someone's bedroom: A bed, hastily made and with a couple articles of clothing sitting atop it, stood in the far corner; a dresser sat beside an open, empty closet, and a door in one side stood fully open and would, if Aulus shone his light there, reveal a bathroom.

Kailee, Fossil

Unfortunately for the ground-type, the wires dangled only a short distance from the ceiling and were much too high for the pokemon to reach.

The second bulging door looked very similar to the first bulging door.

Hayes, Switch

Switch's small bit of electricity caused the lights on the sensor to flicker very briefly for just a moment.

"Looks empty," Aulus called softly to the others. "Somebody try the other non-bulging door.... Then we might have to take a look at those."

Stepping inside the empty bedroom Aulus checked the bathroom and then stepped back into the bedroom, holding the torch in his teeth and quickly opening all of the draws of the the dresser just in case there was anything there.

Paul, hanging onto his trainer's shoulder, shivered.

[Room N - sensor]

Switch's ears twitched. He sent another current, this one longer and just a bit stronger than the first.

[Room P - Opening non - bulging door 2]

Seeing that Aulus had the bedroom well in hand, Lex moved towards the second non- bulging door and attempted to open it.

(Commander Door)

Faleen grinned at the knocking suggestion, but it went without saying that that probably wouldn't get them anywhere.

Faleen watched as Kailee went to go check the wiring, and stepped back as Hayes had his Pikachu test out his electricity on the scanner.
Her eyes lit up when it seemed to work.
"Ah! perfect- Do you think he can keep that up while I try again?" she asked Hayes, holding the PDA up.

Room P

Tambrey hesitated near the door where Aulus had gone through.
She took a step back, considered her options, and then moved to follow Aulus through and wait while he checked out the bathroom... So far he kept finding bodies or traumatizing things... She felt better waiting nearby.

Well That wasnt going to work but looks like she didnt need to anymore. Switch's electricity was helping. She scooped up Fossil into her arms as she watched hoping that the second time would be the charm for The box.

This time, the sensor's whole interface lit up very dimly, though its low intensity flickered even lower occasionally.

Aulus, Tambrey

None of the drawers revealed much of interest besides clothing that looked more feminine than anything else. The final drawer he opened, however, had a variety of lacy undergarments in them.

Almost immediately after the drawer was pulled open, a weighted net shot out from its hidden spot in the far corner to wrap itself around Aulus and pin him to the floor.

Tambrey was luckily, this time, too far away to be affected by the net trap.
