Ash seemed to keep close attention to what Airo said. He nodded hearing the spell.

"Thanks Airo!" he smiled
"maybe I can mail the other dragons back home, but im never leaving these two" he laughed almost carefree.

Amu gently pet Ash as he talked to the man called Airo, looking quite content with Ash calling himself another brother of the twins. He was certainly like a brother to Amu at least. "So you sure you're okay, Ash? You did sorta come back from the nurse's office here."

Airo smiled as he watched amu ask about ash's well being. " now, remember what I said, you need to be careful with the spell, cause it can work on people as well, but its dangerous, mostly because it hasn't been tested on living subject yet." he said turning to amu now and the group. "now, how about I get everyone some ice cream?"

((so glad to be out of the hospital....eating in my bedroom stinks....oh well..))


Ash smiled loving the feeling of being petted
He looked at Amu and nodded
"well, to be honest, im a little tired, it took a radical medicine instead of what the other dragons took, I don't know why but I couldn't stand it..." he whimpered.
"but I knew as soon as I felt better, i'd come tackle you and Yama!" he grinned.
"you are my brothers afterall."

Ash nodded to Airo
"i'll be careful."

Airo gave a nod. "that's good, but do try to take it easy, I've seen what burnt dragons bane can do, eat some food and take a nap, just to be sure. now, im going to go check on the students in the basic magic room, laters." airo said as he turned holding his left hand in the air before vanishing from sight.

Kalena leaned against a wall looking at the keyhole. She was silent and unmoving....too much at least.

Sophia walked into the Grand Hall coming from Sparring class. She saw Kalena standing there.

"hey Headmi....Kalena."

Kalena turned her attention to Sophia.
"hey." her voice was low.

"I though you already left with your kids?"

"I don't know. I really don't want to leave. I can sense bad things on the horizon."

"there will always be bad things on the horizon, Kalena." Sophia sighed rubbing her head.
"if I had to say something, your waiting for someone."

Kalena sighs lowering her head
"yeah but I don't think he'll ever come here. Too much light for him probably. Im worried for everyone here. My friends, the students...."

"but you've been doing that for how long, 10 years?"

"25 or so....I don't really remember how long I was headmaster for...."

"Exactly, you leaving here would be good for you, even if for a little while. I bet you promised your kids that you'd be their mom and not a overworked, under slept teacher."

Kalena looked back at the keyhole
"something like that....one is happy to leave but the other doesn't want to leave."

"want me to go find them, or do I need Eclipse to escort you out."

Kalena turned to Sophia again, her eyes were sad.
"please, don't demeanor me more than I am already. I already feel devalued."

Sophia grumbles
"oh don't even get started on that." she said leaping up and hitting Kalena's head with her palm
"if you start thinking like that, you will lose everything. I'll go look for Amu and Yama"

Sophia left.

Sophia found Amu and Yama and smiled
"hey guys. I thought you two were going to leave with your mom somewhere to regain her sanity. I think she's stalling....." Sophia sighs

Ash, whom was on Yama's shoulders again, shrugged his shoulders silently

"Sorry." Amu said, rubbing the back of his neck. "We kinda got distracted with Ash."

Yama nodded. "We can make her go to Taogonia now."

Ash chuckled
"yeah, im a big distraction."

Sophia smiled
"thank you you two. I worry for her health.....if she remains here....in the emotional state she is now.....erm....lets just say, right now, she doesn't have a dark side, she remains here, she will have one...." she sighed.

"Then we should get her out of here!" AMu said. "Before she goes evil!"

Ash nods without saying anything.

"well common!" Sophia said and led them to where Kalena was.

Kalena was absent mindly staring at the keyhole in the grand hall

"Mom?" Yama asked, slowly walking towards her and hugging her.

"Hey Mom!" AMu said. "You okay?"

Kalena came out of her trance and looked down at Yama.

SHe went down and hugged him
"I....I dunno.....part of me wants to stay but knowing that if I don't go, someone would push me out to keep my sanity." Kalena said in a joking manner but she wasn't really joking.

"Please, Mom." Yama said, gently holding Kalena's hand. "You need a break. Please...Mommy." He said, trying to get her heart hurting.
