"You call Honda organized?" Yuugi said with a laugh, as he led Jounouchi up the game store stairs to the bathroom, " Don't get so down on yourself." Once he had reached the top of the stairs, he added with the utmost seriousness, "Is there anything your not telling us...?"
(Sorry I haven't been on for so long! O_o; I've been so busy with finals and such. And now I've gotten myself a horrible cold! crying I promise I'll be better at updating once school is out.)

((Akilaaaa! *glomps* I missed you! X3 But that's fine; I understand. Finals were hell for me as well. (I've been out of school for over two weeks now though. o.o) And I'm sorry to hear that you're sick. D: Actually, come to think of it, I had a cold right before school got out as well... but can't wait till you have more time. X3))
Jounouchi froze, looking down at Yuugi in light surprise. He should've expected that this would happen... throughout the time he'd been their friend, Jounouchi had proven more than once that he was a good lier when he had to be. He should've realized that eventually his friends would begin to see through his charades. It's not that he enjoyed not telling the truth, or that he lied on impulse... it was just that... he didn't like his friends in involved in personal matters, because then they would always get all worried and protective. Jounouchi hated that feeling. Ever since Honda had found out details over his home and street life, he always felt like Honda was watching over his shoulder, making sure nothing was going wrong. And then when he became friends with Yuugi and Anzu, they proved to be even more protective and nurturing than Honda. And they had quickly caught on to what Honda had; probably because said person at told them about everything. Jounouchi sighed quietly, "Yuugi..." he planted a small smile on his face, "There is nothing wrong..."

"Well." Said Yuugi as he pulled the bathroom door open with a sad smile, "If that's what you say, I'll have to believe you. Your only my best friend." He lead the other into the bathroom and tipped toed to pull the roll of medical tape out of the tall white cabinets that towered high above himself. "Just know, that if you ever need me for anything, I'll be there in second. No questions asked." With that said, he placed the tape in Jounouchi's hands gently, "I just worry about you... being all cut up like this. And I'd know you worry about me if I had come in the same condition."
(I missed you too! I was sad about being so lame, so I drew your avie! But I don't have a scanner at the moment to give it to you.
And yea.. being sick sucks... especially now, cause I just spent six hours competing at a swim meet and I feel like I'm going to pass out. Then I have to lifeguard later... which I don't know how I'll manage since I can't even talk... how I'm I gonna yell? Stupid bitchy old lady who keeps bothering me about working. I hate her and her diaper shorts. *growl*)

"Yuugi..." Jounouchi said quietly, looking at his friend with a mixture of mild surprise and affection. He felt like complete scum now; his friends really cared about him and here he was lieing to them... but... it really didn't concern them at all. Afterall, this whole thing with the other Malik... it could prove to be dangerous, and Jounouchi really didn't want the others involved. "Thank you..." he smiled down at his friend, genuinly this time. He quietly pulled the tape away, beginning to unwraval it.
((You seriously drew my avatar? XD;; That's so sweet. Now I wanna draw your avatar. :O However, my scanner is broken. XD;;
And wow... that really does suck. Wish there was something I could do... D: Hope you get well soon.))

Yuugi simply smiled in response. "When you're done we were thinking of going to the movies. Or maybe to get hamburgers. Ha, I kinda want both though!" He turned to leave the bathroom, "Tell me when your done, we'll be waiting in the game shop for you!"
(We should do a time skip soon! =D
Ahh! You should draw me!! I luff avie art!! <3 Fix your scanner, darn it!!!
Oh.. and yea, I hope I get well soon also.... o__o wink

((Good idea.
And I don't know if my scanner is fixable... see, it still turns on and all, but it only scans black. XD;; And I think it's only doing that because it's so old. (my scanner is older than my computer by almost five years.)))

"Alright!" Exclaimed Yuugi gleefully in response, throwing up a thumbs up sign to his friend, before racing down stairs and joining his friends. Today would be a good day... a day with his friends was always a good one...
(Okay, so do you wanna skip to the next morning or something... or later that night? It's really up to you. We can start with Jounouchi, and then Malik can come back in it after that. =B I'm assuming something bad should happen soooon.
Aw, that sucks. You ought to get a new one. Scanners are really useful.)

Jounouchi quickly began getting to work on all his cuts, this time making sure to get the glass out and disinfect them and everything.
((Um... I really don't mind either way. XD;; I haven't really thought much ahead for this RP... (which is odd for me...) But um... since you said it's up to me I guess... *flips coin* later that night. XD I guess that'll work well, since Malik's scared of the dark... but um... I wouldn't know where to start or what to have Jounouchi and Malik doing at that time. XD;; Oh! Maybe the group is walking back from the movies, and on the way they pass the petshop where Malik just happens to be picking up the cat at that time? XD;;; Coincidental, but it could work... what do you think? o.o
And yes... I really should get a new scanner... but I'm poor... ;_; ))

He had long finished up his shower, but the steam still enveloped his small apartment in a dull gray mist. Sitting in the dissipating cloud of fog, Malik was perched royally on his charcoal mattress, brushing through the long creamy strands of hair that fell along the tan cheek bones that structured his face. As he continued the graceful strokes through his hair, he softly hummed a tune his sister used to sing to him in Arabic. She used to brush his hair like this, and sing with her beautiful voice to his younger self, telling him darkness would soon be gone.
The image of the sand colored kitten from earlier was still imprinted in his mind. It's glowing emerald eyes were as piecing as the jewels his family once protected. The lavender eyes of the Egyptian wandered out his window sill, the sky glowed a pale orange color. Sunset was falling now... maybe... maybe the small kitten could make him feel less lonely. He'd like to have a companion. And small pets were allowed in his complex. He nodded- now sure of himself, quickly tying his hair back into a low wispy ponytail and pulling his ebony leather coat over his form fitting white tee.
Malik whistled the tune again, as he walked down the white stretch of hallway to his front door, passing Jou's number on the fridge as he did so. He stopped in his path, to stare at the yellow note - so bright in contrast to the silver refrigerator. After staring for a few moments time, he grabbed it hastily from it's metallic perch and shoved it into his jean pocket before heading out the door in his usual confident outer trot down the stairway, and out into the uneasy atmosphere of the cloudy amber sky turning to night.

Jounouchi stretched his arms up in the air, letting the nice evening breeze blow through his hair and clothing, "Well, that movie was pretty dull." he said, though with the utmost cheerfulness in his voice. Even though the movie was lame, he had still enjoyed the time with his friends. They were all currently walking away from the theater, coincidentally near the place Jounouchi had been walking this morning. They were actually nearing that same petshop he had gotten cut at...
Bakura walked calmly behind Jounouchi, smiling at how happy he was, "You thought it was dull Jounouchi Kun? I quite liked it." he commented.
"That's because you're a romantic Bakura." Honda suddenly teased, "Anything with no action is okay with you as long as it has romance." he stuck his tongue out.

"I think I was adorable!" Anzu squealed, clasping her hands together, and smiling gleefully. "Don't you Yuugi-kun?!" She nudged Yuugi playfully.
Yuugi smiled in response. The movie wasn't all that exciting. But, y'know.. everybody has there own opinion. And if Anzu liked it... "Yea, it was pretty good Anzu!" He replied, blushing slightly.
"Jounouchi and Honda are just too picky."

At last the pet shop. It was still open... but it was pretty vacant aside from that. Actually, the streets in general were pretty vacant since night was falling. The wind started blowing lightly against Malik's back, and he pulled the zipper to his jacket up. He could hear voices in the distant... and shadows approaching - although, he figured it'd be best (and safer) to ignore them. The glow of the pet shop grew closer now. Almost there...
"Well... maybe you ought to pay more attention to my type of movie then, Jounouchi!" Yuugi teased, poking his friend in the stomach lightly.
Anzu nodded and laughed, slinging her arm around Yuugi's as they walked.
