dragon-talk Anya watched as Nik turned on the television. The news flickered on and the fact that Raven's features popped up on the screen caused Anya to frown in annoyance. Idiot. She thinks she can just turn the tables and not expect retaliation either now or in the future!? She said nothing while Nik expressed his opinion on things. But he did make a point that they always seemed to end up in the middle of something that they didn't necessarily want to be pulled in to. "Dammit. Why the hell doesn't that b**** just shut the f*** up and learn to get along in life without having to go and kill everyone who disobeys her?" Anya finally said both bluntly and bitterly with an exasperated sigh. She then turned her thoughts to what Nik had asked her about. What SHOULD they do? Anya had no idea. She knew she didn't want to go fight some battle that didn't necessarily concern her and didn't want any part in. But she also knew that the way Raven saw things and did things was wrong. Anya frowned. Why the hell did everything have to screw up her life? "I don't know! You're not really helping me make any decision about it either... what with your: 'I'll go where you go' crap." she replied with another sigh as she stole Nik's sunglasses right off his face. Nikolai was surprised how easily worked up Anya got even though she just woke up, cursing out Raven loudly and then him, with much less colorful language, then stealing his sunglasses. "Ah! Hey!" Nik shielded his eyes a little and said, "Well do you want me to decide this time? If that's what you want, I suppose I can do that." He stole his sunglasses back and put them back on. Still smiling at Anya he said, "Well, in my opinion, it would be really irresponsible for us to just not do anything... And sure, it isn't technically our fight... but to me, it seems that this fight encompasses all the owls and all the humans... I don't know... I'd rather not fight, I'd rather you not fight... But I just don't see how we can just let things like this go..." Nik turned to look at Anya and smiled slightly, leaning over and kissing her cheek lightly. "But despite what I would rather have happen... the right thing to do is to help our friends. By friends I mean the ones we were hanging out with for the past couple months." Nik sighed and sat up a little more, looking to Anya and then to the scythe that was in the closet, thinking whether or not the decision he made was the right one, since the last thing he wanted was for Anya to get hurt.

Kate followed after Che, ignoring Will now. As Lucien arrived, landing from the sky on black feathered wings. Her eyes narrowed as she watched the Death Owl's successor and heard what he said to her and to Che. "Perhaps there would be no war if the Great Four, the Heralds, and all Owls did not exist in the first place, DeLeon." she retorted bitterly, glaring at Lucien. It didn't really help that what Will and Che had done a little bit earlier was what had her in a foul mood to begin with.
===
Anya smirked at Nik's reaction to having his sunglasses stolen right off his nose. At least that got him to actually give her his opinion and an actual decision for once. "Yes. Please do tell me what you think we should do, for once." she replied facetiously, giving Nik a look to match the tone of voice she was taking. Then, she fell silent as Nik give his opinion on what they should do now. When he had said his piece, Anya let out a sigh of exasperation. "Ugh.. Fine.. I guess you're right..." she said aloud. "Let's go help them then." Anya was agreeing if only to get Nik off her back about the whole thing. She wasn't really too keen on helping the others in their fight if she would be using her powers to bring people close to death or even kill them though. Anya was about to sit up when she realized something: she was not wearing any clothes. "Ah crap..." she muttered under her breath before looking over at Nik. "Hey, Nik? Would you hand me my clothes if they're nearby?" Anya asked. "Can't really go off into battle without clothes, can I?"

Kojiro was silent as she treated his wounds this time, she listened to her closely as she explained to him the facade that was the peace in Italy. His eyes fell to the ground as the illusion he saw shattered, and the truth became unbelievably clear, " I see...." he thought to himself, careful not to voice his disappointment, but aware his face said these very feelings, "Oblivious or not...I wished that fantasy a reality..." he thought. Kojiro did not look back as she continued to perform first aid on him. He fell silent again as she inquired about his motives for staying on the Fallen Phoenix. Kojiro listened as she disregarded what she may have thought was a obvious answer from him, but it was partially true, but then again each Owl had their own reason for joining. Kojiro was faithfully loyal to Raven, the last thing he remembered was that attack on him before everything went back. The Next thing he recalled was being left battered on a boat, weather he was left there of found his way somehow, he was soon found by Raven, she took care of him, and became a close follower, as their missions began he saw how she acted, but he would turn a bind eye to the more grotesque acts of freethinking, no matter how questionable they were, soon he met Benkei, another Japanese Owl whom he followed around constantly, and then even Nat, who was his age, was with this group, he began piecing together his broken English together and used his skills to aid them in what he believed was just, Raven just may have been like his saving grace, to most she may as well been labeled "The Angel of Death" but he never would accept it, in his eyes whatever someone like Raven was doing was for the good of the world, and he trusted her, and he would fight until with her until he could not longer breathe. But even as this played in his mind, he was also close to the fallen Phoenix, he would bring up to Raven questions of their actions, and sometimes, there would be in fact examples he saw first hand on their Missions that would prove her motives the only option. Kojiro felt if he left the Fallen Phoenix, he would stumble around his surroundings, desperately searching for what is lost, in unfamiliar surroundings, only to be wandering in the darkness, waiting for fate to deal him a losing hand, he was attacked once, what makes him think it won't happen again....and nobody by his side to fight with him.
Kojiro's thought was broken as she began to speak again, he knew tht maybe it was right to go back, but he could not turn his back anymore, if anything he would see this battle to the end, it was a decision he made none the less, he would see it through. Before he voiced any reply though, he was cut off, and nodded instead, "...Love and what I believe in...." he thought to himself.
Naoki sighed as she listened to his explanation to the behavior of the Alchemist Owl, "Soft huh?....he has got alot of nerve for soft..." he muttered. She looked back and nodded to him as he accepted his apology, Naoki crossed her arms and chuckled,"...Really?....well that means you guys-" she looked over and noticed Genya simply vanish into thin air, he jaw nearly dropped,"...He...." she voiced with an astonished tone, even more so that the Shied Owl was not as surprised.

Noel looked at Will. "Thanks for coming" she said her hand glew a white color and released a bolt of lightning hitting a man who was sneaking behind Will from another route. The man fell over burning. "You love chaos...let's cause chaos" she said to him. She wore all black so when her white wings pertruded from her back, and took off into the air, she began to make rounds as white lightning could be seen dancing like a snake. Noel had a change of heart and began to destroy anyone who was engaged in this fight.

Lucien smiled and laughed a little, he expected no different from Kate, she hadn't changed a bit. "I see, if that's how you feel." He raised his hand up pointing his finger at her holding it like a gun. "Feel free to blast your head off and set an example for all owls to follow. Me, I'll keep on living, nothing will get done if we die now. He said with a smile. He turned towards Che, who seemed a little distracted. "I just hope you can keep up old man, a lot has changed sense you were brought back from the dead. Sort of makes me wonder, if Dante hadn't been killed would he be as terrifying compared to the new and improved versions of ourselves?" He asked rhetorically. He stepped forward as he ran his fingers through his hair to get it away from his vision. He looked to the horizon of the buildings as an explosion hurled smoke and debris into the air. "Looks like the others are having fun. Good, they need to unwind a little. Just like we do." He gripped his hand into a fist, as negation liquid began to seep through the cracks in his fingers. He looked slightly down at his negation, it was oddly different, before it was a thick grasping liquid, but now it was smooth, an odd mixture of vapor and liquid to form his own unique method of using it, he wondered if this was his evolution from Thomas's own liquid negation which left the stench of rotting death, while his appeared to be a slightly more calming death.

Bailey knew that getting downstairs through the elevator would take too long. She walked towards her bedroom window and looked down into the streets below. Her room was on one of the upper levels. If she had been a human, this would have been out of the question. However, she was not. The Diclonious Owl pushed open the window and perched herself upon the ledge. Tilting herself, she fell forward headfirst towards the streets below. If one were to look up and see her, they would think that she was committing suicide. But that wasn't the case. Two of her vectors emerged from her back blazing towards the ground, the ethereal arms hitting the ground with such an impact that they created two small crater-like imprints within the concrete and allowed Bailey to gently float down safely and silently, uprighting herself as she did so. Looking around, the silence unnerved her. Death....Bailey closed her eyes and opened them again, yet when she did, all she saw was carnage, the stench of it in the air was nauseating to her. Bodies lay everywhere, torn to peaces, the streets were bathed in blood.
She looked down at her outfit, which was soaked in the blood of many. The trauma of it prevented her from screaming. A sharp pain tormented her. She clutched the sides of her head and squeezed her eyes shut for a few seconds before opening them a second time. Yet this time, there was nothing, no blood, no carnage. Bailey's attire was also neatly pressed and cleaned. What happened just a few moments ago had been an hallucination, an image from Bailey's past tormenting her once again. Within the deep recesses of her mind, she could almost hear a small child wimpering in fear. Bailey shook her head. No, she could not return there. She would not return there. The scared little girl within her had to die somehow. With her head in front of her, Bailey began to walk down the streets.

Morgan continued her fight for survival as she ran as fast as her legs could carry her. Nothing appeared to be following her which was good news as she looked over her shoulder, but suddenly she found herself flung head over heels and straight into an old mattress. "woah where did this come from?" she wondered as she realized she must have tripped over some of the garbage trashed about the alleyway, well where ever it came from i sure am glad it is here" she said with a slight smile as she patted the mattress and jumped when a cat came into view and glared at her, apparently irritated by the woman who disturbed it's nap. "ah... sorry" Morgan waved with a smile before hearing more of a commotion behind her. Turning she could hear the robotic sounds of something not human following behind her and Morgan attempted to hide behind the mattress as it drew closer. she could see robotic arm shadows along the wall and wondered why most things like this always had to have a spider like appearance, "why not horses or doggies..." she mumbled as she waited silently watching as it rounded the corner and took a moment to look for her, I'm not here, I'm not here... the sound of a weapon powering up made her rethink this course of action and she immediately ran as the mattress was enveloped in flames, "why do i have to keep running into Mr techno geek!" she squeaked as she heard the machine run after her, "this like some terrible real life terminator movie!"
Running into a clearing she looked immediately to her left to try and find another alley way to try and hide down, left was blocked off so she ran right, barely catching a glimpse of the Vector's Owl in a crater as she vanished into the alley way still pursued by the damned machine, "dating experiences gone wrong" she mumbled and managed to some how dodge under the thing as she ran back to the only... owl she knew that did not want to kill her on sight. "BBBBAAAAAALLLLLLLLIIIIIIEEEEEEYYYY!" she cried bolting as fast as her two legs would go with tears streaming from her eyes in panic. "HELP ME!"

An approaching noise touched down upon Bailey's ears. She looked around readying herself for the oncoming attack. Yet what passed her made her strike her face with the palm of her hand. Morgan, the human girl who seemed to cling to her each chance she got. Looking a few feet behind the human girl, she cringed at the sight of the cybernetic spider that was chasing her. The back of Bailey's mind considered letting the creature have its way with the human girl, but the moral side of her knew she couldn't let that happen. With a grunt of frustration, her vectors shot forward towards the back of the cyber arachnid, grabbing hold of one of the creature. The vectors launched Bailey forward and upwards towards the creature allowing her to land upon the very center of it. Bracing herself, a third vector emerged from her back and plunged deeply into the very core of the cyber arachnid and began to pull out various electrical wiring. The creature began to emit earsplitting screeching sounds, which reverberated painfully inside Bailey's head. Bailey shrieked as the arachnid reared and fell back. Yet before Bailey could be crushed underneath it. Her legs kicked off of it and she twisted her body into a backflip landing upon the ground in a feline-like crouch just as the cybernetic creature landed on its back just inches from the Diclonious Owl.
Standing up, Bailey rounded on Morgan. "What the hell were you thinking coming out here?!" she shrieked angrily at the foolish human girl. "Don't you realize that there is a war going on out here?! You could have been killed! Do you have anything going on about in that brain of yours besides where you're going to get your next pack of cigarettes or where the nearest bar is?! I can't believe you could be so stupid as to venture out here! I want you to go back into the hotel and stay there!" She reached into her pocket and pulled out her room-key, shoving it in Morgan's hand. "Take this, go back to my room and stay there! Order room service if you like, have a rave party! I don't care! But do not come out of there until I come and get you! Do you understand me?" Bailey asked firmly, her eyes livid with rage.

Che couldn't help but bring a palm to his face at each interval Kate was spoken to. Her response was usually something cynical, condescending, but in some respects amusing maybe only to the Mastering Owl himself. The show was over now though for the explosions and the symphony of riot was starting to play louder and louder, closer and closer. "Keep up huh? Kid, I have super speed. You have My Little Pony wings. I think I can hold my own although I will need you to respond when I call you, alright?" Che replied to the new Death Owl's jeer. When Lucien brought up his brother and asked would his power have increased since that fateful day had he been alive to train, Che simply grinned and patted Lucien's head as Dante would've those years ago. "Dante....was terrifying then. He's still terrifying now...I'll let you ponder that kid.....C'mon Kate time to go!"
Will, the baka trainer, had took to the skies in prep for combat. And by combat, Che only meant messing with Noel. Lucien, the Lucien, was also preparing to make his way into the fray. Team with the new Death? Why not? Once again and without any prior notice, Che whisked Kate off of her feet, cradling her in his arms and nodded to the men before speeding off. Of course debris was still being flung on so were different offensive elements, but the Italian owl made his way through with ease even spinning to take his back what Kate may have taken to her face. "Una bocca piena di miele le api attirerà più di un boccone di aceto? You know I lll---You know I like you, so I'm telling you that for your own good...I'll let you ponder that kid. " Maybe, the woman in his arms would snap at him once her feet were planted firmly on the ground again. Maybe she'd hug him and ask if he were prepared for the fight at hand. Either way, the dandelion haired man just hoped that she, like everyone else, was ready to fight. Che needed not to be a psychic to tell the day would be full of it.
(Translation - A mouth full of honey will attract more bees than a mouthful of vinegar.)

"Great. Two deaths just means we have to try harder to not kill eh? C'mon." Roulin called up to everyone rather stoically. If they hadn't noticed yet, Roulin's mind simply on one task. Finding Raven and killing her this time. Their record at this point was tied...never a good thing for two super powers. The glare that Roulin gave off wasn't one expressing his usual seriousness but rather one that was to let anyone that got in his way know they may die. The power he stole from the beam user was already his when Roulin saw him. Subconsciously, the Owl wanted his power for himself and did what he need to do to get it. Moli may have been disappointed and so may have Cecilia. Would Roulin do it again? Maybe. Even in the same way. Destined to continue absorbing other powers, the Life Owl knew he'd have to escape them first if he was to attain more...but how? For now, the search for Raven would continue and his team will take out anything that got in it's way.
~~~
After Lorna stole a kiss from him Soliel's dark red eyes simply shifted to her as she left the building. Though he was a stoic man, he could admit to himself that watching her leave was just as exciting as watching her come. Typical male response he would succumb to each time. She was out of the building now sailing around on the disc she crafted. Soliel didn't stay in the building for long either. The cameraman and crew were all dead and the security guards who thought guns were a good idea were killed just as swiftly. After burning through the walls of the studio, the Magma owl found himself outside facing down many many Owls. They already knew who he was so attacking him wasn't an option. Like Raven, they praised him for his actions. Soliel humbly accepted their admiration. Pointing forward, he directed his miniature army to follow him into battle. He had a plan for Rome and he'd need them to carry it out.
Cecilia began walking again. As she did so, her jade eyes fell upon Roulin. He appeared to be deep in thought. She was no telepath, nor an empath, but she assumed that he wanted to find Raven as quickly as possible and kill her. There was no other way. Once she was killed, there was a good chance that the rest of the FP would scatter and become disorganized making it easier for them to be taken down. Yet dealing with Raven would be no easy task, not even for Roulin. Something had changed in the Life Owl. Moli had seen it and so had Cecilia, herself, whether this change was good or bad, she did not know yet. Still there was a nagging suspicion in the back of Cecilia's mind that Roulin would claim the powers of others in the same way he did with the beam user. A fire ball was launched in her direction. Cecilia sighed and thrust her hand forward and with a powerful force of gravity, repelled the orb of fire back towards the user who blocked as to be expected. Yet, this was a distraction for Cecilia followed that with a small cosmic blast, which struck her opponent in the torso causing him to double over in pain before falling unconscious. As if nothing had happened, she continued walking and gathering her thoughts at the same time.
Nikolai smiled and nodded, swinging his legs over the side of the bed and getting up. he went to the closet, where the other pile of clothes was, the pile that belonged to Anya that is. He picked up the pile, and brought it over to Anya's side of the bed. He set her shoes on the floor and put her clothes on the bed next to her. He walked to the window and peeked outside around the curtains. The streets were empty, or so they seemed, and Nik could tell that all was not peaceful. He continued looking out the window with his back to Anya so she could get dressed. He sighed and didn't say anything for a moment before asking, "I'm guessing you don't want anyone to know about this? Keep it a secret from that stalker of a Satan owl and everyone else?" Nik had figured that Anya would want to keep the new level of their relationship a secret, simply because that's the kind of person she was; it was none of anyone else's business what her personal life was. Nik didn't really mind, but he didn't like being secretive, he much preferred to just not talk about it, not actively try to hide it from other people.
FalconBlade7591 Naoki sighed as she listened to his explanation to the behavior of the Alchemist Owl, "Soft huh?....he has got alot of nerve for soft..." he muttered. She looked back and nodded to him as he accepted his apology, Naoki crossed her arms and chuckled,"...Really?....well that means you guys-" she looked over and noticed Genya simply vanish into thin air, he jaw nearly dropped,"...He...." she voiced with an astonished tone, even more so that the Shied Owl was not as surprised. ((Benkei))
Benkei had no idea what happened, but thanks to living and knowing Genya as his kid brother, he immediately assumed it was the aftereffects of some experiment. "...again... this time, I know he didn't get lost..." Benkei grumbled softly. "Tsch. Where did you go, Gen?" He scoffed as he began to look around. Maybe we do need to put some tracker on Gen. The Shield Owl sighed. "We're from the same area it seems..."----- ((TFP NPC - Fennel)) "Bloody hell," Fennel swore as he missed his mark. Another swift shot from him took the target down though. It helped that the laser gun's bullets weren't metal. It was more like an energy blast. Sometimes, the romanticist wished he could be more helpful to the cause besides playing lookout, especially at this moment. The blood splattering about was the color of roses and sometimes of wine, but none of it was as graceful as the original. Either way, things were looking up for TFP even if Fennel was finding himself in a bind. He could see Raven happy, Lorna unleashing herself, Soliel in the distance leading a small battalion, Nika and Neah punting about, and even Serena and Kojiro talking to each other. Nothing escaped Fennel's vision. ....even that date of his from the night before. She was being attacked. "I must aid my damsel in distress!" Fennel called out smoothly as he charged to her rescue, but he was too late. She had been beaten and left for the dead by the humans. "That's not the least bit romantic, boys," Fennel declared as he shot the humans. He had to dodge a bit because they had guns and bats too. He got out of the situation mostly unmaimed though and unknowingly left the bodies of the humans lying on the ground in a heart shape. "Carissa..." He moaned as he closed his former date's eyelids. In his moment of despair, misfortune hit him as he was booted by a steel toe boot belonging to another human or Owl or someone. "Argh." Fennel stumbled backwards away from his "beloved" date and regained his balance only to stumble backwards again into the path of one Che Presidiomni.
Che's path had seen more than enough explosions, more than enough dead bodies and more than enough powers being used. If he were his old self, he may have just dropped Kate during his speed run to pick up a few of the powers he noticed. Kate remained clasped in his arms and he remained speeding towards the allotted end of his path. Before he could get there though, the body of a live Owl fell into his path. Due to the situation, Che's memories of playing football in the backyard with friends in what he thought was New York flashed in strobes. Lowering himself and placing his shoulder forward, he barreled through the falling man. His body was enforced with paper and he was moving at speeds up to two hundred miles per hour. Whoever it was didn't seem to have a power at first...not that it mattered now that his body was flung through a car, through a lamppost and finally through a building. "Oh god......like hitting a bug with a car....hold on Kate." Che skidded to a stop, tearing up the gravel beneath him as his inertia faded. Deciding to check on the Owl, he turned around and headed towards the crash site.
Solaris Beauty Noel looked at Will. "Thanks for coming" she said her hand glew a white color and released a bolt of lightning hitting a man who was sneaking behind Will from another route. The man fell over burning. "You love chaos...let's cause chaos" she said to him. She wore all black so when her white wings pertruded from her back, and took off into the air, she began to make rounds as white lightning could be seen dancing like a snake. Noel had a change of heart and began to destroy anyone who was engaged in this fight. ((UNS - Will))
The Satan Owl smirked. "My pleasure, Noel," he answered without even reacting to the fact that she had just killed someone heading toward him. They wouldn't have lived anyway. Noel had just saved the man a less painful death than the devil would have given him. "You take the air, and I'll take the streets," Will chuckled. He wanted to create chaos, and his method this time was to confuse the hell out of people from the ground since people were fighting crowded. "Cerberus, do come out to play...." The devil knew Cerberus was still with Serena, but this was a battlefield that Cerberus simply could not sit out. The hell hound would have plenty to play and gulp up, and Cerberus's patience was not enough that he could just sit in Serena's cell phone and watch all the "food" go to waste.
Satan's eyes darkened from the usual grey to the scarlet bloody red glow that haunted the nightmares of people Owl and human. Unlike the God Owl, Satan did not summon his wings. Instead, he took out a cigarette lighted it and took a smoke. "Ah, my loyal servants, care to join in the fun?" A sneer pursed on Will's lips as he fingered the cigarette and smoothly blew out the smoke. "Keres, you've been bored lately, haven't you? Well, come out. Arae, you too. You've been pouting too much." He shrugged and nonchalantly allowed people to come close to him before delivering painful martial arts moves laced with black lightning, black lightning that happened to arch through the crowds... ------ ((TFP NPC - Fennel)) WHAM! Oh, the pain! Oh, the horror! Oh, for the love of ----- SCREECH! SMASH! BANG! CRASH! Rumble...rumble...crunch... Fennel didn't even have time to scream before he was launched through a car (mostly windows luckily), then bounced and wrapped around a lamppost, and finally rocketed through a building before crashing onto the ground. The pain was so terribly immense Fennel could barely breathe. Carissa....seems I'll be joining you soon... I'm pretty sure almost all the bones in my body are broken One of the Owl's eyes couldn't see because of the blood seeping into it. "Uuuugh..." Fennel rasped. He couldn't get up, and he could see that darn Owl that had crash into him heading his way. That little... ...wait...that's.....
"Oh man...look. I didn't see you there, you know? I didn't mean to hit you or anything...wait. Fennel?" Che's sincere apology was cut short when he noticed the figure of who he just accidentally bodied his way through. It was Fennel, an Owl with a rather peculiar power. Much like his son, though with a more restricted range, he could see everything around him. More importantly, he could see through things and could even control the degree of it. The Mastering Owl brandished an empty playing card. There were no suits on it....just a blank white card with an ornate back. After looking around, he made sure no one could see the transaction.
"Fennel? You know, the UNS has been chasing you dude? Why were you running? And how'd you fall? You know what....don't worry about it." Che said to the romantic little owl. The italian bit his finger to draw blood, then dropped the card onto the npc's dying man's forehead. Finding a nearby rock, he picked it up and tapped him once. The man's body then burst into smoke as per ritual and flitted back to Che's hand. A new aquired power and now, new sights to explore...but who first? "Hey Kate." Che called to the russian woman. "I ahh...I think we can actually get onto crowd control. You know....no more running..."
