"Okay..." Rahvine slipped the Bloody Rose from it's holster setting it in her lap. "Well,...Zero was kind, and gentle. He was turned when he was about thirteen,...I think. After that he was taken in by Headmaster Cross..." Rahvine ran her fingers over the Bloody Rose. "I didn't meet him until I started going to Cross Academy, but I didn't really know him, at first anyway. He was one of the schools guardian's along with Yuki-sama, Headmaster Cross' daughter..."

Rahvine glanced up at DKiryu for a moment before continuing. "Sometime during that year Zero began drinking blood. He never could take the blood tablets, they always made him sick." Rahvine smiled sadly. "About half way through the school year Ichiru-kun started coming to the school, he was Zero's twin brother,...then later that year Rido Kuran-sama attacked the school, Ichiru-kun died but I don't know how...and Yuki-sama left." Rahvine smiled her eyes distant. "That's when Headmaster Cross asked me to partner Zero as Yuki-sama's replacement, and Zero started training me. I didn't know he was a vampire then but I found out about a week later when I found him having a hunger attack..."

"No, Zero was a level D so he couldn't turn anyone." Rahvine shook her head slightly. "He did drink my blood for the first time then though, ...eventually."

"Anyway like I said Zero started drinking my blood then, reluctantly. That's when he started getting more serious about training me. And that's also when we started actually getting to know each other. At first we didn't get along very well, but that changed." Rahvine grinned. "I guess we kind of grew on each other." Rahvine glanced down at the Bloody Rose again. "We stayed at the school for another year after we graduated, then we decided to get a house and be full time Hunters. ...Those years were the best,...we traveled some with Yagari-sensi, and did work locally,...and just lived normal lives." Rahvine looked up at DKiryu smiling. "Zero taught me how to cook, and we had a little garden that we both took care of,...and that's how things stayed until,...well..." Rahvine shrugged.

"...After Zero died, I managed to gather up his things and some of his ashes and made it back to Association heaquarters before I passed out...Then later I sold the house and decided to leave Japan." Rahvine tapped the barrel of the Bloody Rose with one finger. "There was just too much there that reminded me of Zero, and it was so soon after..." Rahvine picked up the Bloody Rose holding it up for DKiryu to see. "That's when Yagari-sensi said that I should have the Bloody Rose,...that Zero would have liked knowing it was still being used."

"So that's why that gun looks like the Chaos Thorn. That explains a lot."

He took out the named gun.
"It is mine so she shouldn't mind if I took it back."
