I can explain them here, since this is a chat thread. XD
Kung Fu has SOOO many styles that they have gone from branching it off into animal styles, and even branching it into objects that don't move. (Iron arms and Tiger style is an example of branched kung fu).
Aikido is a martial art that deals with 'redirection of force'. This is one of the best because if you wanted to crumble the opponent with finger and arm locks, or maybe embarass him/her by throwing them on their a**, this is the perfect style for that. Aikido users commonly wear Hakima and Kimono when practicing. (Hakima are the dress pants samurai wear.)
Wing Chun has an interesting story. I'm just gonna try and recall it.
A girl by the family name of Chun was to be married to a guy she really didn't like. He had to wait a year or so to marry her, and this gave her time to train in martial arts. (I can't remember if she was taught by her house maidens or what). When the time of the wedding came, she challenged her husband to combat, basically kicked his a**, and did not have to marry him.
Wing Chun has to do with backhand swings and straightforward punches and strikes. It also delves into small short shin kicks or leglocks that could cripple an opponent.
all 3 styles are interesting to me, but out of all of them, Iron Arms is still my favorite.

And what are your thoughts on freerunning and Parkour? and if you do them, do you have any suggestions on the best way to get into it, for a newb?
