"Why?"Eriol said putting a finger to his chin pretending to ponder the question. "Because he doesn't care whether she's alive or dead when he does returns them. As long as he returns them to her body, he's completed his task. However there's another collecting her feathers as well, and let's just say he cares more about Sakura's well being than her memories."

Sakura looked confused. "Sakura?" she hadn't yet heard of the story of the other her.

"Don't worry about it, you'll find out for yourself in..." Eriol looked like he was concentrating. "Hopefully no sooner than 15 years."

Shaoran put up his hand to the sheild feeling for a weak point.

This was what Shaoran was waiting for however, he twisted out of the way with ease, and darted over to the unguarded Sakura, and brought his sword down on her.

She screamed, scared closing her eyes. However when she felt nothing she opened them. Shaoran's sword was inches away from her face, but moved no closer.

"Told you you should have just let him go" Eriol said with his arms crossed staring at the seemingly immobile Shaoran.

Shaoran's eye moved to Inuyasha, and the arm holding his sword drifterf from where he was trying to attack to his side. He'd received orders from his master.

Through a mirror Shaoran's master watched the scene, glaring at Eriol."Damn brat."

Eriol smiled to himself. "You're master won't let you kill her, will he? If you kill her you won't exist." he said quietly to himself, only those with particularly good hearing would have heard him.

Shaoran remained emotionless.

A grin crept over Shaoran's master's face, now that he could see who was approaching the group. "Shaoran, retreat for now, I have a wonderful idea"

With that, Shaoran backed up a couple of steps as a portal appeard behind him. He stepped back into it without a word and disappeared.

About a full minute after he disappeared another boiy looking exactly the same came into vision running with a sword in one hand and a strangely shaped board in the other towards the group. He looked quite angry. A beam of light issued from the bored and hit Sakura, who looked utterly shocked.

The boy looked from the demon to the girl who seemed to be containing Sakura, then back to the demon. So this is what Eriol had meant when he said Sakura would be in trouble. He quickly dropped the board and the bear tha he was hlding in his one hand, and pulled a piece of paper out of his sleeve with chinese characters written on it (much like the ones Miroku uses). "Fuuka Shourai!"he yelled, as he did so, wind surrounded him like a shield.

Sakura stared at the boy, still confused by the appearence of the other. "I'm fine" she said not really payhing attention to Kagome.

Eriol remained leaning against the house quite amused with the situation.

Sahoran riased his sword ready to fight with Inuyasha.

Sakura's eyes traveled from the board on the groud to the bear. "That's my...." she started, her eyes moving back to the boy "WAIT!" Sakura yelled to Inuyasha as she pulled away from Kagome towards the fight.

Sakura stopped a few feet away from Inuaysha. "I want you not to hurt Shaoran."

Shaoran looked suprised at the fact someone who he was taking seriously would be so easily distracted in a fight.

"You don't have to fight him" Sakura said simply beginning to walk towards Shaoran, who looked a little more relaxed, but confused.
