Damned Woods

"Yeah, alright," Garin said. "Let's go," he said to the group.

Cyrwys gathered some of the things and went to stand next to Garin.
Sanvi stood and then went to go out of the cave.

Muon followed along as well. "To Helios?" he asked.  

[marixe alcyone]

"Yes, let's go," Sanvi said.

Devin entered the forest first, his wolf nose to the ground as he tracked the Vampire Wolf.

Alyxis entered with Pyne, her hands wrapped around her arms, and standing as close to him as she could get, "This is probably all in my head, but did it just get a lot colder?"  

[Julia the Trickster]

Kaede walks behind them. To her it just seems like a forrest. Granted a creepy dark forrest, but she feels like stumbling around with amnesia is more frightening.

"I wouldn't know. My body temperature is still warm as ever." Pyne said as he held Alyxis close to him.

 

[Hiraru Sagara]

Alyxis shivered and huddled to him, "I don't like the feeling of this forest..."

Devin was keeping up a steady if careful pace, he didn't want to loose track of the scent and have to double back.

Kaede rolls her eyes and continues walking with them. She listens and watches the surroundings to make sure everything is clear.  

[Tall Italian Boy]

"Well, hopefully we'll be out of her soon." Pyne said as they walked.

Alyxis said nothing as Pyne's hand dipped low on her hip, she just preferred the subconscious protection she felt letting him do that. She did look slightly over her shoulder at Kaede, her head tilted to the side, and she asked in a patient tone, "Why did you want to come with us?"  

[Julia the Trickster]

Kaede gets a sullen look. "Because I owe it to Kurenai and Mark. That thing that attacked and may have taken Winter earlier was after me. Not only that, but they protected me even though I was a stranger and had lied about who I was..." Kaede continues to walk.  

[Tall Italian Boy]

"You're lucky you're still alive. King Mark doesn't enjoy being lied to." Pyne said as he walked through the weird forest.

Alyxis was quiet for a moment, before she finally chose her words with great care, "I find lying to anyone is a very bad idea. Mythical creatures can typically smell, or sense a lie. So it is best to say exactly what you mean, and learn to say something completely true without really telling them anything."
