"WOULD IT BE BETTER IF THEY LIVED IN ABSOLUTE DESPAIR!? WAITING TO EITHER DIE, OR SLIT THEIR OWN THROATS!?"

"THEY'RE LIKE THAT ALREADY OUT OF BOREDOM AND YOUR LIES!"

This time Kelly was slapped across the face.
"So you think giving them something to cling onto is bad, is it?"

At the slap, Kelly's face jerked to the side, but she did not turn to face Irish.

"I think it's worse to lie to them. They get big headed with those stupid ideas." She growled, just glaring at the floor intensely enough it could lite on fire. "They get all SELF RIGHTEOUS and think it's their way or no way. And if you're on the no way, then you're not worthy of living. No, only thing you're worthy of is a ******** crow bar beat down to death, all because you don't do what they think their ******** religion approves of."  

[Zahzi]

"Would you rather they just gave up then?"

"I'd rather people use their ******** heads rather than let a damn book tell them what they should do, think, or believe."  

[Zahzi]

"LOOK. AROUND."

"I have looked around! And I don't like what I see!"

"NEITHER DOES ANYONE ELSE. DO YOU THINK MOST COULD STAND LIVING IN A WORLD LIKE THIS!? POLLUTED EARTH, GRIM FUTURE, WAR RAMPANT!"

"Right. And so rather than making people face that so we can change it, we just cover it up with Jesus and God and nothing gets done. And then when someone - like Jarid - does do something about it, everybody has a ******** cow and then demands to sacrifice him because sacrificing their new born cattle is heathen."  

[Zahzi]

"Did I SAY they sit all day with their thumbs up their asses!?" Irish barked.
"Many of the people who ATTENDED the CHURCH YOU BURNT DOWN, were the scientists trying to look into space!"

"I'm surprised your religion allows such a thing."

"OUR Religion says nothing about loathing science."
