Okay...for anyone who's missed out, I'm going to promote it because I strongly believe that it is an anime of quality(something that's been uncommon for quite a while now)
Gankutsuou is a very dark representation of The Count of Monte Cristo, even if the book itself is a little dark. I absolutely loved the show, not just because it brings my favourite book to a whole new level, but because of it's originality! If you havn't read the original book(French) by Alexandre Dumas, then you're missing out on quite alot. For it's time, I was surprised how delightfully exciting and entertaining it was. Love, Greed, Revenge! O!, the sweet revenge of Edmond Dantès!!!
Not only does Studio Gonzo give Gankutsuou the most beautilful visual style I've ever seen in an anime series, but it perfectly carries the story through, even if only loosely based. If you like dark-toned anime, Suspense, Mecha battles, and just can't help but fall in love with the "bad guy" (who isn't all that bad, just possessed by the devil of "Revenge"), than this is definetly something you DO NOT want to miss!
With an epic soundtrack featuring many known classical pieces, containing japanese, french and english lyrics alltogether, not to mention a very well done prologue and epilogue for each episode in French(by the Count himself), the mood is set perfectly for each scene, each moment, each dreadful silence.

Surely worth your time, everyone, if you're interested! Since it has been licensed however, you'll have to watch it through BT or by buying it(Which I plan to do as soon as I make some decent money!)

The whole "you're 21 so now drink yourself to death" is a ridiculous mindset.
Yes, self-control is imperative if one is to consume alcoholic beverages regularly.
I'm guessing that Fausto's Bottle will finally become the little white cloud enemy in Battle.
Well, I like "The Count of Monte Cristo," both the book and the movie. So, the anime should be fairly decent as well.
Yeah, a feature where you could instantly jump to all posts containing your username or a specified phrase since you last checked a given topic would be nice.

Skreemer I'm thinking of joining after crash. I'm just not sure how to represent a tank captain. I know I'll use either a bullpup rifle, shotgun or SMG. If you have any questions about anything regarding the Role Play, feel free to ask! ^.^

the patterns for clothes, and such, is really distracting! eek
They use all sorts of patterns, instead of just coloring it all in normally...
