Hah, the only abuse of power I have done in my modding experience is when a fellow member of the board and I schemed to change everyone's avatars to characters from the Power Rangers.
That was hilarious, and most people thought it was at least a little amusing when the realized that we were not HaXeD. XD
But yeah, even then, at something I thought was harmles, one or two members had problems with me "abusing my power", and I can understand and appreciate that.
When you are modding, you kind of have to take into consideration the members and not just yourself when you make a decision. Of course, if something needs to be done, then you should do what you think is best, but it never hurts to get feedback from the members.

Tsuki No Tragedy When you are modding, you kind of have to take into consideration the members and not just yourself when you make a decision. Of course, if something needs to be done, then you should do what you think is best, but it never hurts to get feedback from the members. My point exactly. It's best, though, to get feedback from other mods first, as sometimes some actions aren't the best ones. For example, you might dislike a member, but he otherwise does no harm. It'd be extreme to ban him just for disliking him. If he, on the other hand, was disruptive (e.g. "Rei sucks, and Jin too!") then you'd be perfectly entitled to ban him for an utter lack of respect, though I believe in a "3 strikes and you're out" policy, to give the person a chance to change for the better. In my opinion, it's the best way to balance things so you are being fair, yet strict at the same time. Strict without overdoing it smile

Okay fine....
If anyone believes I should kick someone out of the Guild...speak now....
Also....just because I should NOT do something....does not mean I lack the ability to do it legally. I've read up on the rules.....and I am like a god in here almost, as long as I don't break the TOS. Heck someone could forget to capitalize a single word and I can kick them out. Actually....I could just be bored and do it for fun and I can't get in trouble with the Powers That Be in Gaia. heart twisted
I'm just telling this...because it amuses me and I don't want anyone to think that I don't have a right to kick people out when I think it's best.
Also...I think I WILL fantasize about a smexy pink Tsuki-chan! twisted heart
Also I am starting to persue an ex-omni-gaia-mod so wish me luck that I can make her my girlfriend! She even lives within a more reasonable driving distance of me!! heart heart

I dislike the term "drama" as it implies play-acting or attention-seeking. Suffice to say it's a good idea to also get feedback from other levelheaded people without ruining the enjoyment of other members. And I'm with Chibi Riku on her latest comment. The First Amendment has no power here, as it's too often abused beyond its original intention. Common sense should be the only rule to apply. And no, Rei, I'm not asking you to throw anyone out - just to not scare people with the thought they might be thrown out on a whim. I for one KNOW you're kidding, but online people tend to take that a little too seriously. Emotes are the way to go to alleviate that smile

I never said that I would or should do such a thing. Merely that Gaia allows me to ban someone for whatever I want. So if Hyu doesn't watch it...I can ban him for insubordination twisted
