Tanakietsu Gale OverDrive Harvest Moon IS the shiznizzle. XD Ne, Tan-kun, wanna learn how to make upwards of 40k in Harvest Moon on Day 1? ^_^ I kinda want FFXII Revenant Wings for my DS. D: How-how!? I mean, I already have over 500k in the middle of my first summer, all I'm missing is 500 wood to build the house. I first reached Mt. Gigant at Spring 12 as well. But tell me how!
Uhhh . . . are we talking about the same Harvest Moon version here? Because I'm talking about the DS one. XD
And to earn upwards 40k in Harvest Moon DS on the FIRST DAY of the game (which is Spring 02), all you have to do is as soon as the day starts, go into the mine, and do the mine-save-reload trick. It goes as follows:
You go into the mine entrance, SAVE YOUR GAME, you dig up the ENTIRE entrance with the hoe, make sure you MARK all the places where brooch, earrings, necklace or bracelet pops out (this is easier done my making a grid on word/excel and marking that square with an X). After that, you reload the game and dig up the places with just an X. Then exit and re-enter the mine to do it again. Rinse and repeat until your character has done about 99 exact digs(it's about 2 stamina/fatigue per dig, making it equal to -100 stamina, -98 fatigue), otherwise you pass out. You should be able to get exactly 99 items. Go back after 10pm to let Carter use your hammer to open up the 1st mine.
Sunscreen, nail polish and gold digs are irrelevant. They bring you NOTHING.
Next day, you go back into the mine, having the first one opened up and go all the way to the 10th level to kill the chick down there. Then go back into the entrance and do the above trick a few more times to net you about 10-15 more items. Wait till the big fat merchant named Van who sells and buy stuffs goes into the inn. You then sell EVERYTHING you dug up to him, but don't accept any price under 2.5k PER ITEM. This should net you around 60-80k for 35-40 items (which I did, because of my lack of patience), and if you were patient enough and did it exactly by digging up 99 items, you get about 200k+. Then you buy TurbojoltXL and Bodigiver XL like MAD from him, maybe around 20 of each. This sets the stage to let you earn about upwards of 1 million before spring is over. XD.
