Maybe you should ask people to PM you if they see you glow?

Yeah, but the problem is I'm real a**l about this. The glow time only lasts 12 minutes, and just one minute makes a difference in the number of players.

Factors: Person> Online> 1 min to send pm> 1 min to get to thread and bump

So, I just try to be on here between 2.5 to 3 hours, if I can. And others in the guild could bump my thread if they see me glowing. I mean, I could also tell people to pm me as an extra way to further ensure I notice the glow, but it's...too time consuming and they could be offline. And who knows if they'll see the glow until 5 mins later, so...yeah I sound trippy xD, caring so much about the EXACT time when it glows, but I do. LOL.

I always thought that was part of the challenge and Gaia's attempts to decrease the amount of gold earned from a tank...
The whole bit about you can't see your own tank glow and have to rely on others telling you if it's glowing to bump your thread to draw in more people to earn more gold...

Yeah, not too long ago they reduced glow times and there was an aquarium strike. There have been three thus far, and I hope there's another one for something, because the system could be improved for tank owners and players.

The only way I know my tank is glowing is by looking at the Gaia Aquarium Analyzer, which I have in my sig. Experienced Aquarium Owners know about this, but some people don't, and also are unaware of the importance of a Direct Tank Link since some IE users can't play without it.

I can't play from direct tank links using firefox. :/
It lags hardcore.
Worse than when I just click the glowing tank.
Like, I move at one-third speed kind of lag.
And Gaia didn't mean to nerf the glow times like they did, it was a weird error from someone playing with coding for something else and accidentally tapping into and altering the aquarium glow coding.
What I'm really upset about is Gaia nerfing off all of the aggregate sites.
My life became hell when they did that because I can't get a grab from a bump thread, I'm always too late because of the time it takes to load or it's full, again because of the time it takes to load.

Lucky for me, it works fine with either on Firefox. I haven't tried IE, I don't go on IE anymore. FIREFOX is the better one...for me anyways 8D

If I were you, I would kill Gaia...but I've always seemed to come out on the lucky side of the coin with load times on all my computers no matter what browser I'm using. I get super mega frustrated *oh it's happening again* when I have connection problems though, which fortunately I haven't had for days! *squeal*

YOU HELPED A LOT. I GOT 32 PLAYERS. *4 in last minute* If we glowed for 13 instead of 12, it would've been a full game. I say they extend glow time to 14=P
