Bad things happen for a reason. Sometimes innocent people get mixed up in the mistakes of others...but they don't happen "just because". I don't believe in Luck. I can believe in Chance....but there's no such thing as a goddess of luck and/or fortune rolleyes

For those of you out there that stalk Petrea Burchard's work, I saw Fracture today (new movie in which she makes an appearance in along side Anthony Hopkins) in light of seeing her acting abilities since I haven't seen any of her works besides Ryoko, and she unfortunately makes a 5 second appearance in the movie on the stands as a witness. The movie was fairly good, just wished they had more of Petrea involved sad

I think it's stupid to believe that there's some sort of deity out there that controls Chance to the extreme...and that by doing or not doing certain things you can gain it's blessing or curse. THAT is logical....and yet a being of order that CLEARLY creates another world of order isn't logical? Hell there's miracles all the time, there's people expert doctors say won't even graduate High School....and end up doing well in COLLEGE.
Personally I view it as the only way America could exist as well. How else do you think China JUST SO CONVEINANTLY had a new leader who dismantled the Chinese Navy JUST as they were posed to take over the WORLD?! Or how about how Hitler could have won the war, had he not ******** up with Russia? Or how about the fact that germs haven't killed us all already? How about the fact that we haven't killed ourselves off yet, despite American's superiority complex, and having lots of people, including our enemies, having Nuclear arms? There's a lot more logical reasons to believe in God, then to not. Or look at the complexity of even a single celled organism! Hell look at the fact that there was LESS then a 1% margin of error in the Big Bang. 1% more powerful or 1% less powerful and the universe would not exist. Personally from what I've seen and experienced I think there's a God. Different then many people believe...but still there.

I'm an agnostic, so my belief is this: I don't know if there's a God, and frankly I don't care. If there is one, it's a super-powerful being who cares nothing for what he perceives as insignificant little insects. Things just happen - there's "order in chaos", so to speak smile
