My English isn't the best, and I have no problem admitting it! XD I've only been learning for... what... 5 years...? I was surrounded by French (only) until I was about 13... I remember it was hell; they shoved an english book in my hands and expected me to know how to read gonk

I only had some pathetic Gaian english when I first when to New York. I could read it fine, because of the forums, but my accent was the most hilarious thing.

I know what it feels like XD I always seem to put the wrong 'accent' on the wrong part of the word; compli_ca_ted instead of _com_plicated, etc.... Kyou likes to correct me >_>

And your english wasn't that bad, if I remember, but I might have blocked your visit from my memory.

I actually used suffixes like -san and -chan, and all of my American friends came to think of it as a Ukrainian thing. XD
Audrey, your entire family had to write things down so I could understand what they were trying to say. Although, as I see it, people in Brooklyn can't really speak english anyway... Roleplay where? Have you started up EBB yet?

I happen to have no idea what you're talking about. D;
No, I haven't I dunno if.. it's too big for a thread.. You know? I mean, last time, it was an entire guild by itself, let alone a small thread. >___<

It will be easier to organize and execute in a thread, though. And easier to keep track of. We don't have to go as in-depth. But if you're not comfortable with it, then that's fine... we can easily just write another one. It was your project from beginning to end.

Well, at least French and English are somewhat similar. Imagine inherently knowing a langauge that uses a completely different alphabet than English and then being expected to learn English. That's what my dad had to do when they introduced English into his schooling when he was about 10.

I don't even want to imagine! XD Learning English was hard enough for me, because I'm pro at French! EDIT: English spelling is much harder than French. It's what really confused me, because in French the words are writen like you say them, really... but in English... I mean, I thought 'night' was writen 'nite' when I first started. "Where does the "gh" come out of?! gonk "
And we're still posting yay! Sorry if I have horrible mistakes, my computer doesn't have that 'Hey, I correct things if they're wrong' function...>_>

Posh!
You were the one who plotted it. I'm totally comfortable with it, but I'm expectin' you to help me organize it if I start it up. Can you start writing a new introduction for, like, 4 members + us? DO you think that's enough? Too much?
*munches lucky charms thoughtfully*

@Suimitsu+Yoder: Ha! I almost had an aneurysm when I tried to figure out your la-di-da letters. Cyrillic is so different, I started to mess up my own language because I had to switch back and forth.
@erased: I can do it, it'll take me a couple days. Do you think there are four people who would be interested, though..? Maybe too much. Maybe three. But we will need to see, because we won't want to leave anyone out.

It's buried deep in the Germanic roots of English. German, and consequently Old English, contain many unused letters. I think English has more exceptions and special cases than any other language.

Although your RP may be blow-standrad on your scale, it is better than average when compared to some I've seen in the RPR.
