Guardians & Demon King Part III (Ending)

"NO!!!" Eiji cries as he falls to Antera. Wings sprout as he braces for the landing and summons and wind to catch Halcian. "DAMN YOU WRATH!!! DAMN YOU AND ALL THAT YOU STAND FOR!!!!" Eiji is rather upset because it was not time for him to join them yet. He had others plans, but now it was too late. Eiji looks over at Halcian with a look of anger on his face. "Looks, like the gate will have to wait, as well as retrieving the future's wind stone. Eiji stops for a moment, wondering if there was a way for him to get back. With him unable to unlock the gates, there would be a lot of souls stuck in the after-life. "Dammitt."

Halcian tilts his head at he looks at the angered angel. He was rather clueless toward things that happened in the Heavenly realm. All he knew was that he was a demon that followed a half demon and was now stuck with his Master's brother. "So now what do we do?" He sheaths his sword ad looks around. "Antera... I haven't been here since I was a young boy..."

Skurai looks up at the advancing guardians and gets a tingling sensation that told him that trouble was waiting for him. "Umm... you guys go ahead. I'm... I'm gonna do my own thing. Seems like it is not meant for me to walk the same path as you guys." A stray gust blew through the field carrying a piece of paper that hit Skurai in the face. "GAH!!!" He cries as he pulls it from his face and looks at it. He is speechless as he holds that wanted poster with his name on it. "Great... just great. Must be Tarik's doing or maybe that demon's doing. Oh well, this just proves my point. Well guys, I guess I be see you all later." Skurai turns around with Saklo and Mastiff following behind him.

Ryuu grunts in pain as she stands in her cell, her back still sore from the chief's men. As the chief had used his energy for punishing Tarik. However since she had really murdered his daughter, she got twice the punishment by three of his men. She spat blood to the ground, not caring what her body was now. Pain was an old feeling she lost a long time ago. She glances up to see someone open her cell, then brought her to some man in armor. Her gaze goes to Tarik, then quickly looks away out of guilt. She bows her head lowly, not bothering to see who her new "master" was. Ryuu only follows the group dragging her along to follow their leader out of the village.


Aku blinks in surprise watching the situation quietly, strange. Her ears perk up as she could sense Ryuu's dragon nearby. She quickly leaves the crowd, then spots two men holding a small struggling bag. Tatsuko? Aku! Aku! Tatsuko responded, able to call out her name thanks to remembering it before. Aku nods then skillfully takes the bag from the men, rushing out of the market then opens the bag. Tatsuko jumps out onto her shoulder then licks her cheek. She giggles, then tucks her into the hood before she ducks into the crowd once more. She would wait for a bit of distance to go in between her and the men who took Ryuu and Tarik.  

[Mario Dragon]

Tarik was not sure what was going on as he is released. He follows along as he and Ryuu are escorted out of town. Though he was glad to be out of the town, was he headed to something just as bad. Who was this guy? He looked familiar but different. Was this Salen?

"So now what?"

The man leads them to a cart that was more of a wheel barrow, "get in, Nero fix there wounds" The man looks at them, "my boss wanted me to get you, hes a demon to, my name is salen we are mercs, me, my men, and my boss know your not from here, he told me to protect all three of you"

Skurai travels with his two commanders and large sword, trying to avoid contact with the locals. He felt like more of an outcast that before and he didn't like the feeling. "Well this is just great. I try to do good and end up making things worst."

Saklo was rather silent. After seeing the poster that warrented for Skurai's capture, he felt more paranoid than usual, keeping his bow and arrow taut in case of a possible ambush.

"Well it would seem that maybe you shouldn't be good at all. Remember how you said that you were tired of living in your father's shadow? Well now is your chance..." Balth walked a bit ahead of Skurai, using his staff as a walking stick. "Look around, you are very well on the path of creating a name for yourself... think of it. This is your story now and you can do whatever you like." Balth has a devilish tone as he speaks to Skurai. He shifts into a ghostly state, weaving around Skurai like a dark spirit and whispering in his ear.

"Hmmm... I like the sound of that, yes... I like it alot." Skurai holds out his hand, waving it through Balth's spiritual state. "Making a name for myself. Sure Eiji would not approve, but heck... we've been separated for a loooong time now. Obviously, he is the good one and I am the bad." he chuckles, letting Balth spiral around him. "Well then, how about we stir up some chaos." Lightning could be heard as a storm begins to roll in. "Saklo, Baloth... I need your demonic auras. With the both of you as well as the spirit of Mastiff, " He holds out his hand, conjuring a golden sphere that was that spirit of Mastiff (died on the airship), "I can reach my full potential and surpass my father."

Balth returned to his human form and nodded with a smile as he began to glow and eerie green color. Saklo was a little apprehensive, but nodded slowly as he began to glow the color of blood. Both Demons turned into spheres of light and circled around Skurai. The golden sphere that was in his hand also rose to circle around him. "Tarik and the others wanted me to be bad, well they'll get it... that's for certain." Skurai held his hand up as rain began to fall. he changed into his demon state and then absorbed the three souls.

Skurai falls down coughing as he reverts to his human form. "It would seem that we need one more soul. The soul of the brave, Halcian." Four black wings erupt from Skurai's back as he laughs in the rain.

Tarik figures it is safe so he heals his wounds and Ryuu's with his powers. So it was Salen. He was suspicious of this Salen, just as he was of Wrath. "What is it that you want?"

Salen laughs, "damit i forgot the demon guy was our last boss after we killed him now we work for some angel, well i geuss my memories not working at all" they stop in the path, "put the collars on them, dont worry it wont hurt you it just keeps you from useing your powers sorry but i tell you what if we run into trouble that we cant handle ill take them off of ya, but anyway we have no idea what he wants from you, probly trying to find his brother, ha strongest demon in the world my a** i could take him" his men laugh when he says that last part as they keep going

Eiji tries to find shelter from the rain. He looks up as an eerie chill goes down his back. "Something isn't right about this place" Eiji finds an abandoned shack and takes cover. "Halcian, this Antera looks and feels different from the other Antera."

Halcian is unresponsive as he stands in the rain, looking off in the distance, in a trance. "He's calling... the master is calling me"

"What? Halcian, come inside, before you catch a cold." Eiji runs outside and drags Halcian inside the shack, breaking the trance that Halcian was in. "Thought I lost you for a moment buddy. We need to find Skurai and the others..."  

[Mario Dragon]

Tarik resists them trying to put the collar on. He does not trust these guys and they are far enough away from town that he would not be seen if he used his powers on them on the deserted road. "Not so fast there."

Salen looks back at him, "listen we know what you can do but you have no idea what we can do now ive been friendly to you so far your still a demon if some one saw you freely walking around with out this collar they would try and kill you and me this is for your own good believe me"  

[Mario Dragon]

Tarik says, "Sorry but I have my own ideas on how to get around. I know this place well too. I know the customs and know how to get around. Thanks for your concern but no thanks. I will not have my powers taken by the likes of you," he says stubbornly.  

[hunter-the wanderer]

Salen glares at him, "the angel said you might do this so he told me that if you went and talked to him he would give you a stone or a rock or something like that"  

[Mario Dragon]

Tarik says, "Those are no good to me here. Look, I'm not sticking around here to go on another wild goose chase. I'm done with that. I will not be starting over collecting the stones here. I would have to kill all of those pesky guardians to get the rest of the stones and I am not king here in this era. This is the age of demon slavery. This is all Skurai's fault, he has surpassed the stupidity of his father to become the pariah of the demons."

"You will have to take me by force. I will not lose my powers so easily." Tarik turns to leave sending a giant blast over his shoulder at the men.  

[hunter-the wanderer]

Salen grabs the blast and it dissapates immeadeatly, "we are not here to keep you prisoner and we are not going to stop you the angels castle is at the end of this road if you ever decide to come back"  

[Mario Dragon]

"I have no need of angles. The plan is dead. There is no need for stones anymore. My life's work is done. I have failed.," Tarik laments. "I will not see the angel. I will see no one. There is no need. There is only one remedy to this situation and it will not come from some angel," he says in anger. "Wrath and Skurai and their irresponsible killing of the hydra have brought this upon the demons. The demons will not ask help of an angel."

He grabs Ryuu's arm and starts to walk towards the dark woods.
