The Park

[Mayah Playah]

"And how do you feel?" she asked shakily.

"isn't it obvious?" he sighed, gently trailing his hand down her cheek.

She shivered, closing her eyes. "Menoetius...please...I need to hear you say it, so I'll know it's real."

The demon let out a sigh and hugged her close. "I. Love. You."

She let out a breath, smiling. "I love you too," she replied in a hushed tone, drawing his lips to hers.

He smiled, holding her even closer as he kissed back.

Without seperating their lips, Alexandra pulled him on top of her, for once forgetting her vow of being on top. Her hands took turned roaming his chest and rubbing his neck as the kiss grew more and more frantic.

He gave a smile and kissed her harder, one of his hands sliding down to rest in her hip.

Before she knew it, the twenty-two year old's tank top was on the blanket beside them, her jean unbuttoned and his shirt nowhere to be found.

Alexandra pushed her hair from her eyes as she draped a leg across his and kept a tight grip on his chest. "Wow," she panted. "I guess love does change everything."

He smiled and brushed a hand through her hair. "indeed it does..." he sighed, somewhat sobered up.

Moving to straddle his stomach, the naked young woman looked down at him curiously. "How old were you when you died?"

"three hundred and twenty eight...." he sighed, staring up at her. "why?"

"I just wanted to know how much younger than you I am."
