	It helps to start with an idea. XD Like the one I just made, Archmage Gordak, knows almost nothing except Evocation magic (and a handful of Universalist spells) and essentially acts like an awesome old man who rains down the pain on everyone else. Pick a school of spells and an idea for how they use that school. It tends to go easier from there.
