I'd make a Gay guy who is very blunt and tells you that you are un-spiffy if you are. He is also good looking with an outrageously good fashion sence and is very lovable. He could pop up randomly in towns and be a store owner for costum made clothing.

Maybe Christian and Marigold, from Once Upon a Marigold (awesome book). They could give you quests to save the kingdom from Olympia, and you'd prizes like the phoenix pendant or the diamond earring and such. ^^
