I was born with Ptosis [droopy eyelid] I had a surgery when I was 3, then anoher one at 6, then another one when I was 9, and then Ihave to get another one when Im 16. The past surgeries they knocked me out..and cut off my eyelid then replaced it, but then the next time they have to keep me awake to get proportions right. A lot of people can't even notice it anymore, the last surgery went so well, but this next time it's gonna make it look normal. : ]

Braces are annoying when you have them and when they first go on/get tightened you get some pain from the pressure.. but they are SO worth it when it's all done and over with.

I had a a canine tooth that was moving upward into my gums + in some time this year i'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled.
what i do when i have to get over the thought of dental surgery is thinking about how much i'l be off with out it. mad sad

yea i have braces and they want me to get surgery becuse i have a like 4 teeth in my jaw does anyone have any ways i can get over the fear ??? im very scared xp and dont want to get it done and if something goes wrong i could have to eat thought a tube in my belly

im soooooo srry to hear that well wen u get ur surgery listen to sad music thats wut helps me and usually i dont feel anything like evanescesense or anything that sounds sad to u{o ya 4get to say im sorta emo-gothish knida guy so it may not work for u[or find somthing thatll chear u up]]

All surgery has risk involved...but unless it is a life or death situation that cannot be avoided, the surgeon wouldn't be doing it if your chances weren't excellent. Just take a deep breath and treat it like a rollercoaster ride. There is no way you can avoid apprehension so just run with it.

I`ve had to have my wisdom teeth taken out and it wasn`t near as bad as I thought. In fact, I kinda enjoyed it. But only because of the meds I got. :]

Hopefully your`s will go well.

I had my tonsils taken out when I was eight.

The nurse was nasty and told me the doctor ate them.

I was scarred for some time. eek

the only surgery I had was to take my tonsils out when I was little.
I know how you feel.
I remember screaming or crying or something almost everyday I was in the hospital.
Your surgery won't be that bad.
My cousin had a tooth in her jaw and she told me the surgery wasn't that bad as she thought it was.

Also, why would you have to eat through a tube in your belly if they're taking out teeth. o_0
