Apparently you don't know much about cancer. Cancer is a genetic disease, and as a genetic disease, you are born with it and certain factors increase or decrease the chance for you cancer to develop.

She isn't going to die for certain. There are plenty of people that live long lives even through smoking. True, it is bad, but she isn't going to die from it.

Let me make this clear to you, even if you're only puffing, doesn't make it any better. Besides if you're going to smoke then do it the right way or bug off and don't pretend that you're smoking.

I was once a smoker myself when I was younger... lucky for me I was only semi-addicted when i stopped. The only reason I did stop was because my asthma was getting bad.

Temptation still lurks though.

But, get off it. You feel bad for getting your friend into it? You shouldn't have done it to begin with. Smoking period is bad, you know that. So stop trying to get people to feel sorry. It was your own choice to do that... and as I said, if you're not going to actually inhale but instead puff then just don't do it at all, it's a waste of money. Stop while you're ahead. Tell your friend and then let things happen from there.
