Filipinos are both because we're cooler than everyone else XPP.
I'm Bisaya too! But I can't speak it... cry cry
Filipino's all look different, it just depends on their genes. My cousin looks pretty Chinese but she's full Filipino. I look completely different but I'm also full Filipino. Honestly, no one can tell what I am which annoys me to no end. Point is, the main reason we look different is because so many different people have been to the Philippines [[from the Spanish to the Americans]] and so it really just depends on who our ancestors are. Plus skin color doesn't count because we're tan because we're constantly near the sun. It's got nothing to do with whether we're considered Asian or Pacific Islander. Those in Southern California are tanner than those in Maine but we're all considered Americans. Besides, why wouldn't we be considered Asian? Japan is more into the Pacific Ocean than we are.

I'm guessing they're both Pacific Islander/Asian. I'm not sure.Kumasta kas is all the tagalog words i know except i know alot of other words too... so ya... Lol mrgreen

Js_Boo_4ever Kumasta ka! I'm guessing they're both Pacific Islander/Asian. I'm not sure.Kumasta kas is all the tagalog words i know except i know alot of other words too... so ya... Lol mrgreen It's KAMUSTA xp But anyway, yes we are considered as Asians. Since we are part of ASEAN (Association of SOUTH EAST ASIAN Nation), it is a sort of proof we are asian i guess. LOL THIS THREAD reminded me of the time when my auntie came over and talked about us being Pacific-Islanders while we chopped vegetables and whatnot for a party. Hehe my auntie is so goofy. <3

wow.. ppl are still argueing about this huh..
lol me && my friends were debating about this && so we asked a few teachers from our skool on wat they thot.. THey ended up debating too.. hahah. it was funnny watching the teachers argue hahaha.
