I don`t eat at KFC. Last time I did, I got food poisoning.
I dunno if it was bad chicken or something given to me by the cross-dressing hobo that worked there. That must`ve been at least 300 pounds, hadn`t showered for a month, and was wearing a halter top and fake nails.
I threw up for three days. . .

[Sonic Offline] dirty_cat You know you could actually get very sick from eating their chicken. Some of them carry sicknesses and diseases from the way they were treated when alive burning_eyes I mean most of the time you eat their chicken you don't get sick, but it's still not very good for you. I've watched that video before and now I don't eat there anymore. And it's not just KFC, lot's of fast food restaurants have the same disgusting problem! Mc Donald's used to do something like that, but from what I heard they changed, so their chicken is probably the healfyest out of the other fast food restaurants :] lolno. chicken from Mickey-Dees. is usually not very chicken-ey. the chicken they do give you is 100% real, but the chicken nuggets are like only 14%, and the chicken sammiches are like 35%. it's mostly just processed s**t that's not healthy at all (and sadly, probably healthier than the grease on the burgers), but pretty much just waters down the meat, to make it last longer. Huh? Are we talking about what I said about mc dolnalds or mickey-dees? Anyways, Mc Donalds is not the healfyest (forget I said that stressed ) It was just a rumor I heard.
Well, I guess it's up to organic to save the day sweatdrop

As to what Tyra said, KFC isn`t the only one guilty of bad food. Once, I got food poisoning from a Mexican restaurant, too.
And I cannot stand to eat at any "fast food" place except for Subway and Steak && Shake. Normally, I feel ill after eating at McNasty`s, Taco Hell, etc. etc.

Though, my area of Louisville, the only things near by are a White Castle, DQ, McDonald`s, and a smoke shop. =/

Although they probably are cruel, it's not as bad as it seems. For pete's sake, PETA (people who made this video) say not to drink milk...or to eat cheese! They're extremists, they make things seem far worse than they actually are. For example, fur farms. They are nowhere near as bad as they used to be, but PETA took a video of one of the bad ones, and even I was fooled until I found out that it's not as bad as it seems! Here are some quotes from the PETA kid section: Quote: Does your school have a student-choice policy allowing students the right to refuse to dissect? Are there animals being held hostage at your school, commonly known as “classroom pets” or “hatching experiments”? Do your teachers plan yearly field trips to the zoo or the circus? It’s your school, too, and that means that your voice counts, so speak up and let your teachers know that there are alternatives to animal exploitation. And don’t forget to recruit your classmates to help you tackle these issues! Quote: Give Cows a Break—Dump Dairy Products! Quote: How would you feel if you were snatched away from your family, beaten, chained or stuck in a dirty cage or boxcar so that you could never roam around freely or play, and forced to perform silly tricks just so that someone could make money? That would be awful, wouldn’t it? Well, that’s what life is like for elephants, tigers, bears, lions, horses, sea lions—yes, that’s right, sea lions, who are supposed to be in the sea—and other animals who are used in circuses and zoos. For them, life is no fun at all. Animals in the circus aren’t there because they want to be, and they don’t perform because they enjoy it. Trainers use tight collars and muzzles to help control the animals and whips, electric prods, and bullhooks to force them to perform. ...not as bad as they make it seem. Zoos try and make people more aware of animals, and even performing animals, like dolphins, help us learn about the wild. Even the good old crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin, thought so! Classroom pets are normally hamsters, mice, or something small which would be in a cage either way. They're not being treated improperly, in fact, they're treated quite well in most situations and promote caring for animals! And hatching project teach children how the hatching process works! My class did it in primary. We learned alot, and when the chicks were older, roughly a month or so, we gave them to a farm where they could roam freely as they grew. I really wanted to keep 'em, I was heartbroken. But I developed a stronger love for animals, getting watch them when they hatched and then grow and play for a while. So yeah, off topic, but the KFC is not all that bad. I don't eat the, but that's because I don't like they're chicken, but I love Taco bell! Which I think is owned by the same franchise...

<3 Subway. Also, I don't really trust PETA... They tend to have a double standard and... I can't trust 'em.

I've already seen it and am not impressed. I don't trust anyone who does these videos because they don't save the animals when they see them in danger. Besides, anyone willing to watch a dog die in the back of a garbage truck is a sick individual and void of any compassion towards anything living. I'd love to raise and kill my own food, but society doesn't exactly make this an easy option since the local meat markets were all but driven out of existence.

Mmm... Now I'm craving some KFC. :3 By the way, PETA is a group of extremist idiots. I can understand someone wanting to be a vegetarian, but vegan is simply crossing the line. That where you're coming dangerously close to "BUT VEGETABLES USED TO BE LIVING THINGS"
