s4mgir1v3rsi0n I called her on the phone and she touched herself... It's kinda funny.. (well, not really) that you guys are having the weather we normally get up here in Canada and the last couple days here have been soo nice. I mean, its supposed to get cold again by the weekend but today it was like 16C which is about (60F). Around this time of year at the very warmest it's hovering around freezing.. but normally is at like -10C... not sure what that is in F but 0C=32F.
So yeah, today I walked to work and had to take off my coat part way and was walking in jeans and a T-shirt. ^^ Ugh I can't wait for spring so it's like this always. >_< ...I laughed myself to sleep. It was nice here today too. It's usually around 5F or less at this time in the winter, but today it was in the 40's or 50's. Everyone was walking around in shorts and t-shirts. whee

Risika Nightwish @ Duchess Dill With all of the ice and snow you've gotten you have never had your pipes freeze? That would be the best thing to happen for me. I want the snow without the bursting pipes. ^^ They're probably built out of something that stands the freezing cold. It was snowing here the other day biggrin

It used to happen at my momma's house all the time. They were talking about insulating her tiny pipes or some junk but it turns out they only had to heat underneath her house to get it to stop happening.
She'd always be prepared in the winter though.
Like keep all the dishes clean at night so you would have clean dishes to eat off of in the morning in case the pipes froze. And fill up old two liters with water. And she's even have those big water jugs. And she'd keep a mop pail of clean water in the bathrooom for one emergency flush. Because you just gotta fill up that tank thing on the toilet and it'll flush.

Nothing happens in Jersey. It gets colder, but that's pretty much it. Snow in the upper half ... well, they get flooded a lot. I live in Central/South Jersey and this year we didn't get even an inch of snow yet.
