Hardly.
I sure do wish I knew it all, or even a fraction, but alas, I do not.
I am focusing on now, not later. I'm enjoying my childhood while it lasts, meaningful relationships are for when I'm not a child anymore, I'm not stupid enough to think every girl I screw will be with me for the rest of my life.
Let me guess, you two are in your' late teens, early 20's at the oldest?

You do know its possible to have an open education about drugs, alcohol and sex... to have an environment full of people who drink and take drugs, without being a d**k about it.

You say you're waiting until your older to commit to a relationship, one problem with that and like I said, you'll find relationships a lot harder if you wait until your older to have one, you learn how to deal with all the ******** up s**t that happens in them when your young so you can make them work when your older. Its not a matter of someone to spend your life with, its a matter of learning how to keep someone to spend your life with. |

Been there, done that. I had my taste of a long term relation ship when I was 12, almost a whole year, but it crumbled because I didn't like the girl anymore, and I was just using her at that point to get to her friends.
Better to learn that life isn't all candy and perfect relationships than to think you have more than a 2% chance of sticking with the same person for a length of time. |

I drink as a weak way to cope with problems, and more commonly for recreation. Kids here are still into DARE and TRUTH, so I'd like to see how it'd be popular, when everyone thinks pot will kill brain cells and make you a junkie.
I try not to use 'drugs' as a crutch, but it happens. Just with the lower end of things, though.
I'm not stupid enough to drop a sheet of Blotter when I'm sad, I'd rather not do a flip off a 80 story building. |
