^ I would pick a kangaroo because they can carry their young around in a built in pouch and have their hands free to box your lights out. hehe

> Butter Pecan Ice Cream makes a great home made shake.

v What kind of Ice Cream would you have your shake made out of?
PostPosted: Fri Feb 01, 2008 11:26 pm
^ Medieval Madness Ice cream. (It's a specialty ice cream made out of this creamy chocolate and three musketeers bars... mmm)

> If anybody ever has anything pressing or important to say to me, you should PM me. Being PM'ed makes my phone vibrate, and if I have it with me (and it's charged and on... and I'm not sleeping, or gone... or not feeling well) I will immediately come online and see what's up.

v What would you do with a million dollars? ($1,124,479.93 Australian.)

^ I'd get out of debt. I'd then travel the world and visit Marie-Cris, ChainsawDoom, babieangel, Hazumu-san, Gweener, and butterfly. I would give money to different charities. And I would give Gaia money to stop making improvements and fixed the already improved areas. mrgreen

> There is this really kewl dark parody coming on ABC I think. It is called DEXTER. It first aired on Showtime. Now it is finally coming to regular TV. I can hardly wait. It is about this guy who goes around killing serial killers. So, I guess he is a serial killer who kills serial killers. Sounds morbidly fun.

v What do you think would make a great show or program?
PostPosted: Sat Feb 02, 2008 1:19 am
^ Personally, I'd like to see a good space or air-combat anime... without too many mechas. Mechas are great for ground defense, but they are a silly concept for space combat. they tend to disobey Newtons third low quite often, and can punch, throw things, swing swords, etc. without tumbling backwards... which is totally wrong. I want something with some good combat, like vandread was, but with less mecha.

If you're talking show, as in... Western style... I'm going to one again say space combat... preferably focusing more on small agile fighters than large capital ships. What would really be cool would be a chronicling of Rogue Squadron's missions from the Star Wars universe. They went through a lot of action.

> I do know I need to check out Macross Zero and Yukikaze, and maybe robotech. I've watched Vandread and Outlaw Star, a little Blue Gender, and som Galaxy Railways, along with most of Tenchi Muyo GXP, and I plan to eventually finish them. Other than that, I'm looking for suggestions. I'll watch mecha (and don't anybody recommend any of the Gundam series... I already know I need to watch them.) I beg you... tell me suggestions... PM me, if you wouldn't mind.

> What's your top three favorite animes and their genres? If you don't watch anime, or can't think of three favorites, what are your top three favorite TvVshows and genres.

heart ... Autumn leaves fall and are swept out of sight ...

^ Sadly I haven't dabbled in much anime, but out of the ones that I have ... hard to pick a top three. In no particular order ((and I don't know their genre, I'm sorry)) :

Rourani(sp?) Kenshin
Howl's Moving Castle ((still can't find the book! >_<))
Sailor Moon ((in original Japanese dubs))

I know, I know; basic.

> Midnight ... shoot. I took my guitar out of my case today, which means I'm going to end up playing it when I go to bed and that usually goes until 2 in the morning.

v Any odd habits?

... So are the memories of love that we knew ... heart

^ I have what most people consider an odd habit. But to me it's perfectly natural. I can type what I'm thinking or doing as in homework while listening to the TV and carrying on a conversation with my husband at the same time. I've never accidentally typed a sentence that I was saying to my husband or one that I heard from the TV or from him. Haven't done it intentionally either.

> Woke up with my shoulder hurting really bad. Almost felt like it was dislocated. Must have slept on it wrong or too long. Asked Grump to pop it back into place. He tried but couldn't. While he was holding my arm up at an angle; I just rotated my shoulder a little and as I moved my arm back; it popped. It ended up popping two more times before it finally stopped hurting. But now my neck hurts on the same side that my shoulder was hurting.

v Have you ever had a dislocated bone or joint, and if so; how did it happen and what did you do to fix it?

^ Can't say I have, but I did break my arm four times before I even turned four.

> The sky is lovely and overcast today; SO WHY IS IT STILL HOT?!

V Hate the weather?

... So are the memories of love that we knew ... heart

PostPosted: Sat Feb 02, 2008 10:44 pm
^ My weather is nice and cold. I'm a cold weather person, with obscene tolerances for the cold. Any temperature above freezing (temperatures include windchill... I hate windchill...) and I don't need to wear a jacket. My body can actually tell me what temperature it is...My hands get cold first, usually under 45 degrees (7.2 C). It's only cold enough for a jacket when my ears star to hurt, which is usually below freezing. Then my face will start to get cold, which means it's really freaking cold, and if my shoulders get cold... >.>

> I had to work for my heat tolerance. I wore a jacket for two... no, three years straight... even in the summer. After that, I finally got some heat tolerance. I used to have almost no heat tolerance, and it was so annoying...

v How tolerant are you to temperatures?

^ Since working at Nippy's, none whatsoever. Stupid factory.

> I've got Running Bear Loved Little White Girl in my head again. I haven't listened to that in ages, I can't even remember where the CD is.

v Song in your head? ((I should start that thread))

^ Believe it or not; the song that has been stuck in my head lately, is the song "Disco Duck." Quack Quack

> Right now I am watching Myth Busters marathon. Those guys are awesome.

v Is there anything you would like to know is capable of really happening or just a myth?

^ Nope, Mythbusters have pretty much covered the myths I could think of.

> I still haven't made The Song Stuck in your Head thread; not sure where to put it, actually, but I should do it soon because I've got a heck of a lot of David Bowie in my head.

V Seen Labyrinth?

... So are the memories of love that we knew ... heart

PostPosted: Sun Feb 03, 2008 9:41 pm
^ No... But I know I should, because it's rated by many people as being in the top 5 best fantasy movies of all time...

> ... I've got a loverly bunch of coconuts... There they are all standing in a row... Big ones, small ones, ones the size of your head... Just give 'em a twist, a flick of the wrist, that's what the showman said...

... well... It's not as bad as the p***s song...

... also... I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay.

My, my am I feeling a little loopy today...

v Ever seen "Interstella 5555", the animated music video for Daft Punk's entire Discovery album? ... I like it. One part of it made me sad...

^ I haven't even heard of it until now. Mind, I do tend to stick to opera, operetta and musical theatre.

> Good film, good puppetry too. Some of the special effects are to the 1986 charm ... it's "counterpart", The Dark Crystal, is ... well, it's all puppetry, no humans, no singing, and a tad more violent than Labyrinth ((not by much, just a tad)). I know it's just puppetry but when I was watching The Dark Crystal for the first ((and so far, ONLY)) time, in some moments I was just wondering: "Can they DO that?! It's a kid's film!"

Then again ... it was 1986.

v Ever seen Muppet Treasure Island? ((I ask because Professional Pirate is playing on my MP3 right now))

... So are the memories of love that we knew ... heart

PostPosted: Sun Feb 03, 2008 10:48 pm
^ Yes... long long ago... My Mom hates the muppets, though...

> ... You have made me quote my favorite e-pirate quote ever.
...
Again...

Spin: arrrr, pirates of the south west
Spin: thar be large pipes o'bandwith near ye'ol univarsety.
Pirate: yearg, ye may be an ta somethan thar.
Spin: what say ye we pull yonder USB hard disk longside yonder NMSU puter and begin tha lutin and plunderin.

^ Both. I've also seen Treasure Planet, plus the Treasure Island cartoon series they used show on ABC

> I've been sitting here with my MP3 headphones in my ears for about 10 minutes and I only just realised I hadn't turned it on yet. ((Sunday - David Bowie, from his Heathen album; love this album))

v Ever do anything like that?
