This may not fit the hospital theme, but when I need to get my braces. I was put to sleep and they would take out the teeths from behind, afterwards I had to suffer bleediness and... well suck them and swallow them!
But then again, I once remembered when I was so young, I went to the operation for no reason. Maybe to diagnose my body... you guys do not want to know that! Maybe not, oh this is so strange! eek

 .. she shined it clean.. and kissed it soft.. even when he wasn't there anymore..
When I was 5, I found one of those little pocket knives. I flipped it open and-- -- it cut across my arm. (I was trying to push it up using my arm... and it was rusty.) Had to go to the hospital where so many doctors empty syringes into my arm to reduce virus infection from the rusty knife. >> Ouch. Cried for a week.
... she crawled on the ground.. looking for her wedding ring.. even when he wasn't there anymore...

Manamii now that you mention it, it is pretty amazing how much doctors can do for you these days.
OH OH I FORGOT TO MENTION THE FRICKIN PRICE.
This all took less than a half hour,
... and we were charged almost $400. Not including all my medications.
thank god for Canadian health care.

Only time I needed to go to the hospital was when I had to get an X-ray for my back. I have to take off my shirt and put on this lead vest. .-. I was so happy it was a female doctor. Turned out I have scoliosis, and if I don't go to some sort of ciaropracter (sp?) I'll be hunching by the time I'm 35. xDD
But seriously, it sucks that you got your arm cut open right in front of you. o ,o;;

Yeah, I hate x-rays. I always get male doctors and those little gownies don't cover much.

Hmm... *conjures a list*
When I was about 5, I had to have tubes put in both of my ears so I wouldn't go deaf. That's the only surgery I've had. When I was about 8, I cut the pad of my left index finger off with a pair of scissors. When I was 17, I got in a car accident & went to the hospital because I was dizzy (probably just from the stress). When I was 21, I cut the pad of my left index finger off AGAIN cleaning the meat slicer at my work. 22, cut the pad of my left MIDDLE finger off. Again on the slicer at work. (I try to avoid sharp objects at all costs now LOL)
Now, I work in a hospital. "Housekeeping", or "Environmental Services". I make a good chunk of money & the benefits far outweigh the puddles of blood I have to mop up & the disgusting smell of the patient floors LOL xd
