I love to eat meat
Animals will still be killed either I eat meat or not. And I have healthy food, like, salads, vegetables and fruits. I rarely eat some u.u"
I'd rather save human lives than animals anyways
if other animals eat other animals, why shouldn't I?
plus, meat is super tasty, and it's good to eat it

I loves ma meat. The meat on the shelf... it's dead anyway, so why let it go to waste? Wouldn't that animal have died in vein if the people it was intended to feed didn't eat it?
If more people became vegetarian, the meat companies wouldn't feel the need to supply supermarkets with so much meat, so I don't believe they died in vain. I do, however, believe animals have died in vain if a vegetarian will not eat a meal with meat in it prepared for them if the vegetarian did not inform the cook that day that he/she is a vegetarian.

btw, I was a three-year vegetarian, but quit for conveniency and cost issues with my parents. 3nodding

How hopelessly ignorant... There will never be that many vegetarians to sway meat providers like that. Ever. Unless some freak accident happened that caused meat to become the bane of human existence... Humans are gluttons, plain and simple. We produce so much more than we consume and it will continue to be that way for the rest of our lives and that of future generations.

I tried going vegan, but I ended up being hungry all the time and I failed at it.

I just love meat too much. Not beef so much (except for tacos c: ), I could live off chicken and fish.

Hmm.. You do need animals. I don't mind eating an animal just as I know every single part of it is put to use. Animal cruelty is what I can't stand. A guy killed a chicken right in front of me one time for no reason. Hit him in the gut forty-seven [counted] times with a metal baseball bat. x 3x

Simplistic-Tyranny
Meat is my friend.

Quite honestly, the PETA ad`s are overrated and just another media ploy to scare people.

I would stand in line for this

I`m half a vegetarian. I don`t eat beef, pork or chicken.

Fish and other game animals are completely OK though. I can`t stand fatty meats. x[
They make me go "Ewwwwww".

I used to be a complete vegetarian, then when I got pregnant. . . I needed more protein, so I brought in fish, that slowly led to the other game meats.

We get most of our meat from one of our friends who hunts|fishes excessively. He just does it for the sport, but always gives his kills away to people.

That`s the kind of hunting I support.

After re-reading this post, I realize that it`s just kinda all over the place. . .

I called her on the phone and she touched herself...

I could never be a vegetarian. I would quite literally wither away and die. I'm too thin as it is. Also, I just really love meat. But seriously, we're omnivores and have been since the beginning of time, why change that now? It's clearly what we need to be healthy. I don't agree with how a lot of animals are treated before they are killed but that's not going to stop me from eating the already dead animal. I'm more worried about what kinds of things they put into the animals though.. they are injected with so many hormones and stuff and then it gets into us which is really not good. But then again, there's a lot of crap in our fruits and veggies too unless you buy everything organic. I'd like to go all organic but I really can't afford it. Anyways.. I'm sure I had a point... but I don't remember where I was going with this. I have a joke about vegans but it's not very nice. Hahaha.

...I laughed myself to sleep.

but you're killing yourself in the process. Humans NEED the nutrients in meat to live healthily. If you go vegetarian, at least, please, buy supplements and vitamins to make up for what you're not getting from meat. I.E. Iron.

I'm not a genius and I don't know all that much on the topic, but I do know that humans do not need meat. There are other sources, such as beans, that contain protein. Plus scientists believe that humans weren't meant to eat meat.
Again, not a scientist or anything.

I'm not a vegetarian. Far from it. I love meat. Especially beef. I hate really fatty meat, though.

I say save from torture...not being killed. Although I have been replacing burgers with veggieburgers.

Actually, humans have always been omnivore, so scientists can't really say we're not meant to eat meat, we even have the teeth for it...yes, the teeth.

we don't have the teeth to eat meat. that's the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard and scientists have actually proved that our teeth are more set up to be herbivores.

you're right. You get every single vitamin mineral and nutrient you need from plant sources. The only thing you can't get reliably from plants without using supplements is B12, which you USED to be able to get, but genetic modification and breeding and whatnot bred it right out of plants. But supplements work just fine and you need such tiny amounts of B12 you tend to get it here and there in foods in which it's found in trace amounts as well as fortified foods that it's not a problem.

As long as you watch what you eat [which you should do no matter if you're omni or herbi] you will never suffer deficiency in anything.

there's no such thing as "half vegetarian", sorry. It's cool that you're interested though. that's awesome!

but seriously, Americans [and those with similar diet to the S.A.D.] eat more meat and dairy than any other culture ever has in history, and we're killing ourselves with this ridiculous food habit. So eating less meat doesn't make you half vegetarian, it just makes you intelligent.
