When I get mad or nervous I do yarncraft. I knit or crochet constantly in school because I'm bored all the time, and my teachers don't stop me.

I craft when I'm bored, when I'm watching TV, while I'm reading, on the bus...I have to have something to do with my hands at all times or I spaz.

I fold paper cranes when I'm nervous. You can't sit paper in front of me because it will end up in little pieces and bitty birds and I won't even consciously realize I'm doing it.

I find that if I do craft when I'm nervous, it throws off my guage and if i'm making a pair of things, or making a stuffed item with multiple parts, I can't use it. So I find other ways to stress.
I knit garter stitch on large needles when I'm nervous or upset. That or I crochet granny square blankets.
Lately I've gotten into this "MUST SEW!" kick. I'm not usually much for sewing. I don't have a machine, and I'm using some pretty thick fabric. My thumb is purple right now.

I find that when I'm nervous I knit. However I don't knit in a useful way, I start a project, get bord and start another. This will go on till I'm not anxious anymore, and I have no free needles. When I'm mad, I clean and organize. Which means I have to avoid my room at all costs, because its a disaster area and I'd only stress myself out causing anxiety, ect. Its a vicious cycle, my landry is usually clean though...
