[Fallen Poetry Angel]

She stood facing him, her face set in an expressionless way. "Ready?" She called out to him. Her eyes were hard, in an odd way. Her swords were held ready, lifted just above their resting place at her sides. She would use them as sword and sheild.

"ready." he said the wind picking up around him. he charge toward her, wind was around his weapon keeping it dull so if a she was struck it would not cut her. he kept his sword out to the side as he ran his shield guarding the front of him.

A clang echoes around them as her sword hits the shield, and she turns, moving to face his side. she struck out at him, flipping the sword in the air so the dull side was what was aiming for him.

he jumped into the air using wind to lift him out of her rang. he landed behind her his shield still guarding him. his sword swung toward her side. "surprise!" he said as he landed.

She jumps at his sudden movement, and her swords instinctively go to block his sword. She backed up, one of her swords swinging towards him.

he closed his eyes listening to the wind hearing her every moment reacting quicker than before. his shield blocked the swords. wind wipped about him and suddenly wind lashed out behind her knees striking hard enough to make her fall if she didn't suspect it.

Suma Guturwa watched the fight progress from his office, the students were self directed and seemed dedicated to what they did. most students who had been sent here had attempted to run away. "these to may be ready for an actual mission...their teacher has been sick for quite some time now.

Her back hit the ground hard. She laid there for a second, figuring out what had happened. She flipped back up onto her feet, ready for another attack of that sort. They were farther apart now, and she went towards him, then back, guessing he knew something she didn't.

Lan smiled as she jumped back. he ran at her his shield still in front of him. "what's wrong? why are yous stopping?" he kept his eyes closed hearing her movements.

She looked at him, then moved her swords, blocking his from hitting her. She shrugs. "Nothing's wrong. I'm just thinking." She smiles lightly and moves his sword farther from her with her own.

he dove at her and the toppled over the edge of the battle ground. the fell downward. he caught her as they fell wind rising around them into they stopped falling and were suspended in air. he let them drop and they plunged into the water below.

She felt at home now, and swam to the surface after a few seconds. She smiled, looking around, then diving back under to find him. He had the advantage before.. but now.. she wasn;'t sure.

he stayed under wind around him swirling faster and faster allowing him to breath under water. he stayed at the ready to fight.

She had spotted a swirling pool of air. This was different. Now he didn;t need to surface, but could pull her in. She stayed where she was, hoping the airy water would prevent him from seeing her until she had a plan.

he stayed in his shell of wind moving in a circle with it unable to see through it. he keep his eyes closed listening for the sound of water breaking through.
