Free hugs end one of two ways: hug-ee accepting very energetically, or the person kind of inching away, thinking, "What on Earth?" So you'd probably be fine. (^_^)

I live in a neighborhood where everyone keeps to themselves, I mean I've lived here 13 years already and still don't know my neighbor's names... they would think I'm an even wierder wierdo than they already do rofl

(^_^) My neighborhood is like that. Sure, if we pass, we'll exchange a kind of "Uh, okay, you're there..." smile, but that's it. So, free hugs would never work for me.
I know ONE of my neighbors names. No, two. Yay! It's a record. 3nodding
When I lived in Indiana I knew everyone... but then we moved to Texas. And I know no one. (_o_)

I live in Indiana and know no one... After getting my degree(s) (hopefully two) I'm moving somewhere else... I don't like it here.

I lived there when I was five, and there were tons of other kids, so we played all the time.
My parents said that the field behind us smelled like pigs, but I wouldn't know since my sense of smell is nearly nonexistent. D:

I find it hard to explain to people that don't live in the UK, mainly because it's a british slang term, but wikipedia says it all.
Chav (pronounced /ʧæv/) also Charv/Charver (pronounced /ʧɑːv/) are mainly derogatory slang terms in the United Kingdom for a stereotype fixated on low quality or counterfeit goods. It commonly refers to those belonging to a youth sub-culture, often stereotypically associated with a low socio-economic class, a striking dress sense and criminal activity.

We've got this group of wannabe chavs in my town that go around shoplifting once a month and thinking themselves badass.
At least they're generally nice people. Could be worse.
