I just found out that I will be playing Saint-Saen's Carnival of the Animals in the area civic symphony this season.

I actually haven't ever heard of this composer at all. Now I'm curious.

You should look up some stuff by him. I think hes one of the greatest at puting a story to music. He has some awesome stuff for piano also. He was amazing at piano. The carnival of the animals is his most popular work. I like his piano concertos.

I like it very much, specially the aquarium, the swan and the march of the lion.

I'm playing that at Dickson Community Band right now actually.
I like the Swan one. :]
Everyone else thinks that it's boring, but I think that if you feel it, you can make it something beautiful.

Indeed I know and like Saint-Saen's Carnival of the Animals. My favourite pieces are the Aquarium, the Fossils and the Swan.
Currently, I do not know very much of Saint-Saen's other compositions, though. I should try and investigate more.

I like Aquarium most from Carnival of Animals as well. ^_^ It's so much fun to play the piano part x3

It's a series of songs written by Camille Saint-Saens. You should check them out there very interesting.

I just looked it up X3. It's really good. I like it. My favorite so far is probably The Aquarium. Btw, doesn't the aquarium sound like a song from beauty and the beast XP just wondering.
