Unfortunately, I never remember ANY of my dreams... other than the dream when I was flying.. and I'm pretty darn sure that is a good sign, regardless, right? O:

Ha, there was this one incident involing my trombone. I tripped and fell while carrying it. It went flying through the air and landed on the tuning slide. My body kind of went into shock. Someone had to grab the remains of it, and lead me back into the music room. Once in the music room, that's when the confused bawling started. I'm so glad the juniors didn't have class that day, otherwise they'd see a section lead going insane over a hunk of metal.... but it's MY hunk of metal. heart
It ended up having to be sent away. I ended up moping for a few weeks, even though my friend felt so bad he gave me his trombone and used the schools. It just didn't feel right, not having it in my arms.

I had a dream where my french horn ate me and another where my piano fell on me. Which is weird because the piano didn't come from a second story or anything, it just...fell from the sky XD
But I have cool music dreams, kinda weird too. I remember dreaming awhile back and in my dream, there was a piano piece I'd never heard before, but I could see the hands playing in the dream, so I wooke up went to my piano and started trying to play it. It was awesome, unfortunately, I forgot it before I wrote anything down.

Ha yeah once right before a concert some jerk who was in the band just so he didn't have to do anything else (you know the type... rolleyes ) broke my reed when I put in the case when going to the bathroom. I was never so mad at someone. Anyway yeah...

it's kinda sad...that my worst dream involving music is arriving late to my rehearsals D: I was afraid of walking into the concert hall where we rehearsed because I know I would get yelled at (my conductor is REALLY strict when it comes to coming on time. you must be there at least 10 minutes before rehearsal starts, and if you arrive right WHEN it starts, he makes you stand on the podium and apologize to the entire orchestra (about 80+ kids), and he's really scary when he's mad D: )

I've had a nightmare about my instrument breaking too - I dreamt my violin fell down the stairs and shattered eek . I was nervous about it all day afterwards...
Metamorphize, I know what you mean about not having your instrument - my previous violin had to go away for a week to be taken apart and mended, and I was stupidly worried the whole time. And that was only for one week.

It would be a scary place for anyone else in the room at the time. burning_eyes What does he play? Maybe you can break something of his, or put a dent in it at least. I would have. Wow.... I would have been pissed beyond all reason. Right before a concert too. People don't realize what it takes to come up with a good oboe reed. grrr..... I feel your pain.

My music nightmares are about being late to Orchestra rehearsals, or playing a part not the way the maestro wants it and getting fired. I hope that never happens. sweatdrop

One nightmare.... I was late to a performance of an opera I was singing in, which was being conducted by my advisor/mentor/director, and just as I entered the basement of the theatre to get into makeup, my director emerged from the shadows and looked so angry I thought he would strike me. cry That was mostly terrifying because my director has the patience of a saint, and I've only ever seen him really angry once....
More common nightmares include my forgetting to pack my concert attire for an international tour, and not realizing this is the case until performance time. xp

O my god I know it's been a while now but I still shake in anger thinking about it. I mean, does anyone realize what happens when you don't have a good reed! NO! They just think your bad. Not only that, but I hate some people who dont' get it. Like one of my friends can be awesome and can be a totall a** whole (you know the type) and whenever during rehearsal I go this reed sucks he sais "o sure, blame it on the reed." You know what...SCREW YOU!!! Sorry, yeah anyway the kid who broke my reed played the baritone but I think he quit. I want to do evil things to him... twisted

You know what...SCREW YOU!!! Sorry, yeah anyway the kid who broke my reed played the baritone but I think he quit. I want to do evil things to him... twisted Like today for example I have 2 really good reeds right now. My main and my back up im using. I dont like to practice with the best one all the time so I dont wear it out before the concert you know. So I go to practice on the back up. This particular one was one of those that need some cork grease or something because theyre hard to pull out of the oboe. Anyways I go to take the reed out of my oboe, I pull really hard to get it out and I accidently smash it against the desk I was sitting next to. I was like -------------> eek So now I need to come up with a new back up reed like NOW. And that doesnt happen so easily or quickly. I had been slowly perfecting that reed for 2 months little by little, and it was gone in like 2 seconds. Somedays I wonder what possesed me to play the oboe. I just want to pull my hair out.
