Midnight's Rose (Anthro Roleplay)

[Dragoness_Muir]

*She takes another drink, a larger one this time...swishing it around in her mouth before swallowing*

"It seems to be slow everywhere lately. Even in the Badlands, there's very little movement." *Muir shrugs as she takes another sip, crossing her legs at the ankles and swinging them slightly* "I'm pretty good, thanks."

Frowns slightly at the acknowledgement to it being slow, that meant that people were getting out less...which also meant business might slow down for her. "Slow even in the Badlands? Sounds like people just don't know how to party anymore." Giving a small grin to lighten her words she opens the bottle of water in her hands and takes a sip. Her ears twitch as she picks up on the beat coming from behind the door, it was one of her favourite songs of the evening. Her tail swayed behind her as she sang the song in her head. Blinking back into the conversation she smiles, "Is there anything else you would like miss?"

*Muir smiles as she notices the owner swaying to the music. Finishing her drink, she stands up.*

"I think I'm going to let the music guide my steps and dance for a bit."

*she looks at the barmatron*

"Why dont you come with? Doesnt look like you're going to get much business tonight and you deserve a little fun. Besides, you can always come back in here every so often to check."

Considers the offer from the dragoness, tilting her head ever so much as she thinks of the pros and cons. Glancing towards the musical door she bites her lower lip, tempting offer... "I would love to hun, but I don't like leaving the bar unattended. Thank you kindly for offering, but I'll have to ask for a rain check. Maybe once a worker gets here I'll join you." She gives a dazzling smile of apology to the dragoness. "Though you go right on ahead and enjoy the dancing, you may even see something you like." She winks at the mention of men.

*Muir chuckles at the last statement* "Well, if you change your mind, or when a worker gets here..." She leaves the sentence open.

"I'm going to have a peek and see if your good decorating tastes, extend into the club section." *She winks and flicks her tail gently as she turns around, her dress gently billowing out, showing off her thighs and just revealing a glint of gold fur. Opening the door, the music gets louder as she enters the dance floor.*

Smiles to herself as she watches the dragoness disappear through the dance door. Leaning against the bartop she glances around at the countless extras of people shifting around the bar area and flowing from one door to the other. Occasionally there was someone to come up to the bar and ask for a drink order, which she immediately filled. Sighing softly she gives a professionally cool smily whenever a new person enters the bar, only to let it slide a bit when they left. The ever constant pulsating beat making her head spin with musical thoughts.

A large black wolf entered the bar. Quickly approaching the bar, he ducked under it, reappearing next to the young barmaid "Sorry I'm so late" he apologised "Bike broke down and I had to run 5 blocks to get here" He looked over the quiet bar "Another quiet night huh... why don't you take a break, I'll watch the bar for a while".

Kai had finished his drink and looked over at the bar "Since you're help has arrived, why don't we go dance for a while?" he said in that smooth tone of his.

Watches as the wolf enters, a frown of slight disappointment flashes over her lips for a moment. After listening to his quick reason she simply nods at the comment upon the lack of beings in the club. Leaning towards the wolf she whispers, "Get the bike fixed." Her eyes flash a warning, she didn't want to fire him just because of his bike.

Turning towards the other who had spoken she looks him over before smiling softly, "Seems like an offer I can take. Though I'll need something better to wear than this, so give me just a moment, okay?" Without waiting for the male's response she disappears into thin air, the only thing left behind was a shimmer where she had stood, though that soon vanished also. After roughly thirty seconds she reappears with a smooth grin and a whole new outfit.

The dress was a deep merlot, accenting her red hair and reddish tinged fur. The cut of the dress was a halter-v neck sheath dress that clung to her curves, only to end at mid-thigh. Her hair had been pulled out of its updo to trail soft curls around her face. Opening the bar's side lift she walks over to the male who had made the offer of a dance. Upon her feet were a pair of high heels that had ribbons twisting their way up her legs to her knees. Holding her hand out to help the male up she give a flirty smile, "Shall we?"

Kai let out a growl of approval "Very nice" he commented. Taking her hand, he escorted her into the dance room. "By the way.." he asked "I happened to see that smile while I was having my drink, how would one interpret that" he said as he pulled her in close as a slow number started up, his tail swaying in time with the music.

Wrapping her arms around him for the slow dance she feigns innocence at his question, though a smile would be upon her lips, "Well...it could be interpreted any number of ways. Though how you decide to think of it is simply up to you..." Smile becoming more sly, she looks up through her lashes to his eyes, playing coy. "My turn for a question...What is the name of the handsome male I am dancing with?"

He smiled back. "That question is an easy one" he said "My name is Kai Ryushin... And before you ask, I am the son of Kain Ryushin, CEO of Ryu Technologies" He slid his arms around her waist "So what might you're name be, hmm?"

Tilts her head at the mention of the technology corporation, her right ear twitching as she tries to think where she had heard about that group before. Looking into his eyes she keeps the smile upon her lips as she speaks in a purr, "Pleasure to meet you Kai. My name is Metria, Metria Lovely and I am the owner of this establishment." The song which had just come on was yet another slow song, for some reason unknown to her, the DJ was deviating from the assigned list for tonight. Not that she minded.

"Well then Lady Metria.." Kai smiled, "may I have this dance as well?" He held out his paw.

(Feline, reddish tinged fur, red hair at mid back, chocolate eyes. (I'll add my character's ref sheet on the first page.))

Blushing at the formal title she smiles in a shy manner before gently placing her paw upon his, "You may." She bowed slightly as if this was in fact a formal court, even though it obviously wasn't. Her free hand went behind her back for a secretive gesture that changed the lighting down a few degrees in darkness. The near black of the room was only lit from above where red orbs hung in the air nearly five feet above the heads of each being in the room, glimmering softly and occasionally bumping into other orbs. From around her neck a gemmed necklace of silver and crimson stones flickered and came alight with a similar red glow eminating from each of the thirteen gems that hung from the chain.

"You're simply stunning" Kai said, as he kissed her paw "I've never met someone quite as beautiful as you!" Kai put his arms around her and began swaying to the slow rhythm of the music.
