Broken Angels

Angels are broken
oh so painfully
they watch, they listen
as their people be

angels are broken
the angels cry
as they watch the people
they ask god why?

Angels are broken
When they hear god’s reply
“It’s meant to be”
And the angels still cry

Angels are broken
When they lead lost ones
There’s no help to be offered
As people grab guns

Angels are broken
As they see red
Fighting breaks out
But no words are said

Angels are broken
Yet they must move on
They must watch the people
Yet they’re too far gone

Like it? whee

ohhh i wanna randomly post my poem i sent to chris earlier this morning i want people's opinions!! ^-^


The steam of fire and water

An everlasting flame,
A forever flowing river,
Beauty that shines within the flame,
Shines within the river,
Both are very different,
Yet very alike.
Opposites attract,
And they balance out a whole.
Without one,
the other would fall.
The flame's beauty and the water's grace
Both alone can shine the place.
But combine the two and magnificient colors,
Gives you views worth wonders.
Both fire and water are much alike,
Together or alone they could rouse up a fight.
Killing many, spreading fast, trying to find each others' paths.
So when these two distructions meet,
They settle out, steam that turns to peace.
Together they are one,
Both at equal pace.
Together they love,
Giving out even grace.
If ever these two should ever part,
Live and learn, the world will fall apart.
Opposites exist to keep this world at peace,
To give us hope, to keep one from defeat.
Everything's at balance as everything should be,
Do not tare us apart for as I have said,
Without the water, the flame will die dead.
And those who get caught within the flames' path,
They too will feel his horrible wrath.
Again, I warn you do not tare these two apart,
For their soul, their love, they share one heart.
For he is the flame,
And I am his soul,
Forever I will gracefully flow.
Don't you see?
That we are meant to be.
So leave us now,
Do not disrupt the sea.
For hell you will unlesh upon thee.

lol, it seems like everyone i know has a bedtime. my mom just wants me to actually sleep sometime beforr midnight usually. I usually go to bed at 11, watch family guy then pass out, lol

but love starts with you and me


poem 2:

if kisses were rain drops,
I'd send you showers,
if hugs were seconds,

if smiles were water,
I'd send you the sea,
if love was a person,
I'd send you me.

if your asking if i need you
the answer is forever

Hmm...looks like the wedding got to you guys...congrats! I guess I'll just go ahead and put my other poems up here, and the judges can pick the one they like best for the contest. This one's a bit more emo...but here's the other one:

A Spirit to Fly

Take me higher
Far above the nighttime.
I'm a spirit
Floating wild and free.
I'm a memory
In the hearts
Of lonely people:
A mirror image
Of what they all could be.
I have no choice,
This is my fate;
I'm a restless soul
Born too late.
Admired by none,
Cured by all
Who impatiently wait
For the spirit to fall.
But, I've been here
Since the birth of time.
I give no reason,
I make no rhyme.
I'm a testament to
Lovers who cheat and lie.
This may be your destiny-
