I love being able to say that and actually have a story to go with it! It's so much fun! Only, the stories get kinda...interesting at times with my band. Just never say the C-word that means a round shape...half of us will run screaming because of the many times we ran that particular bit of drill.

Yes the dreaded circle that's never a circle. it's more like an ameba, XD We can't really do them that well either, sweatdrop

it most likely mean that the manuver requires perfect sync and when out of sync it does not even remotely resemble a circle

It's really ahrd to get get every person in this shape to go exactly where they need to be. If one person is even a little bit off then the circle can have a corner which is not a circle anymores, xd

Yes, we had issues with circles, too. Ours was some Shaker quilt design (only fitting for Chorale and Shaker Dance), and it was a circle with two semicircles inside it. Nobody ever said to start at measure 16, it was always "Circle Drill! Quick like a bunny!" (btw, don't ask...trust me, it's a loooong story). We worked on that so much that everyone hates to even hear that word now.
