Anyways, they'll NEVER be like those bands, those bands, have as little possible talent. I serisouly just started and can out play them.

You know that is what happened with My Chemical Romance. They are ******** in Teen Beat. I don't like to get into this, but WTF? I hope Avenged Sevenfold stay true to all of the fans that love their music for their music. And not all the fans who just go with the trends and don't even know what Avenged Sevenfold stands for. I am in a band and we are gaining ground. It's exciting, but if we did make it big and go mainstream I don't think it would be as meaningful.

therevx i like screaming that you can understand...... and some bands have no tallet screaming....but a7x dose And contrary to what alot of people believe, it DOES take a certain degree of talent to scream and make it understandable, and not injure your throat, and A7X dies it pretty well.

According to Syn, M CAN still scream. He was just over doing it before. When I went to see them he screamed a bit when they played Pantera.

OH I see. These people that I asked elsewhere said that he ruptured a blood vessel so he can not scream...I understand the rupturing part to be true, but I'm glad he still can. WTF was a great album...I haven't listened to much of STST...but COE is a great CD...it really is. It's a new sound, but it's a good new sound...

Kitten Undead You guys want the truth, okay here it is straight from Shadows mouth We can't explain this enough so I will answer it one more time. I had a minor surgery on my throat a few summers ago. We went on that summer to play and scream all the way through warped tour that year. After warped tour we settled down to write the new record and as a band decided we did not want that to be a part of our sound anymore.
So here are the quick answers:
Surgery : Yes Have anything to do with our sound now : Absolutely Not
Shads
i remember reading that on the A7X forum site... ninja

piinyouri Personaly, I like the new sound! I recently bought COE, thought it was the greatest piece of music id heard in awhile. So the I bought WTF. While I still liked it, I preferr singing over screaming, unless I can understand the screaming. mrgreen I agree with them, only I liked the vocals of the new cd (not so much screaming), and the music of the older cds better. But, all in all, it's good no matter what way you slice it. So, I'm happy with what ever they choose to do. Screaming, not screaming, just as long as they keep the kick a** guitar solos and awesome drumming, I really doubt there's anything they could do that would make me not be pleased with them... except if they pulled a GC and went more pop then they were to begin with. blaugh

I listen to more DEATH Metal bands so I like the screaming that Matt did on Sounding and Waking which are my more prefered albums from A7X. City of Evil personally was a bit too soft for my tastes and sounds too popy in my opinion less of the metal aspect and more of the catchyass tunes and chorus parts. Now I'm not going to say that I hate the new sound because the new sound does have some interesting points like allowing Synyster Gates to experiment more with guitar solos because so far Strength of the World is their longest song and most of it is instrumental. But yeah I like DEATH Metal so the screaming is a plus in my book considering I listen to the following bands:
Cannibal Corpse Six Feet Under Suffocation Obituary OTEP Arch Enemy Saytircon HATEBREED SLAYER
