How you made your avatar FURRY!

Me my Fursona is a dragon, sadly they don't have a good pair of wings to go with my skin color.

I use a Padmavati's Lotus for the scaly skin color,
a Drome Egg for my eyes,
four Blue Lizardman items for the Eyebrows, snout, tail and feet,
Elven ears (Dragon) for the ears of course but sometimes I use Kelp o' th' loch for a feathery effect,
and lastly I use Raptor Ice horns.

I actually didn't use tektek to make my avatar; I'm probably one of the few who didn't. Still, I think mine turned out pretty well. Cute yet edgy.

I've finally found the combination of items that would make my fursona appear on Gaia. At least as close as I could get it to.

Gogh Reed fox ears, Gogh Reed Fox Tail, Padmavati's Lotus Buddha Skin, Pink Nosey Tattoo.

Major drawback: very orange, that stupid mole thing at the avatar's forehead, and weird, wide ears.

im useing Padmavati's Lotus for skin,
black lizard man for snout, tail and eye ridges.
drome egg for feet and eyes,
elemental wings (gaia really needs a normal set of leathery dragon wings)
raptor ice horns
freddy claws for a clawed hand look. (annoying that the onley skin that gets decent claws is the weredrome)
and kelp o the loch for the finned ears, could stand to be a bit shorter but eh i work with whats avalable.
i used to just used a modified weredrome, but this looks far more dragon like now.

im almost complete on making my avi look furry i just need tsurara the demon cat then im done, oh all i did was just put baneko face paint and tatooed whiskers on my face, baneko ears on my head, then got the baneko body and legs and there i look like a cute kitty now ^^

Most furry items on Gaia don't really work for me. They just don't quite look right.

I just went with my tail, and occasionally you'll see me wearing wulf boots or gloves, but not much else

uuuuhhhmmm... well if you are using the green or white skin you could use the imaginary friend(green) or the gogh reed(white)
they are pretty spensy but if you really wan't those wings they're worth it ^.^

if your up for it, you can tektek that avi of yours and i might be able to find you a pair of fittings wings ^-^

basically with all my avi's i'll always throw in some kinda tail and ears combo, and try to use the white neko skins when i can. (they tend to not layer to well ^^;; )
aside from that i throw on some whiskers from time to time ^3^

Coon tail and Baneko.

Though to make the arms grey like a raccoon, I used a cheap undershirt that's the same shade as my face. Pretty good, yeh?

My only qualm with it all is that when Baneko fur is on, I can't wear the black eye stripe tattoo and give it that final robber's mask touch I want so badly.

Back in the days when I was just a lowly noob, I quested for the ears and tail back then when they were so popular.
Then, yellow body color thing, brown stripe tats, brown nose. Voila

I'm the same as Saga.
I don't really like most of the items on gaia.
I did have a fox tail and ears awhile ago, but they really didn't work for my avi... thankfully I'm a polymorph so I can be whatever, or I don't think I could get any items that would match my avi XP
