[Chunnin exams] The Glacier Zane, SANO and Aki's match

"Ugh...you've got to be kidding!" Zane puts his hand out in the direction of the ground and focuses his chakra. "Okuridashi Kaze (Propelling Winds)!" a burst of air erupts from Zane's hand sending him flying high into the air avoiding both attacks. While still in the air Zane faces Aki and unsheathes his katana and slashes downwards, "Kamaitachi no Jutsu (Slashing Wind Skill)!" A burst like tornado of wind heads straight to Aki.

Okuridashi Kaze (Propelling Winds)
Description: Loosing a short blast of air from their hands, the user is able to propel themselves in the opposite direction with considerable force. This jutsu is ideally suited to Wind ninjutsu specialists, who often tend to favour avoidance of attacks rather than powerful defences, and can be used to either move very quickly to the side, or even propel themselves quite high into the air.

Kamaitachi no Jutsu (Slashing Wind Skill)
Requirement: Weapon, like a fan
Description: The user uses chakra and a weapon usually to create large bursts of wind at an extent. In reality it is not an actual burst of wind but a tornado that came from the user. The wind slashes objects; at most it can cut tree branches. Like a real tornado, the wind expands as it goes farther and hits larger targets. The wind disappears after being shot for twenty feet and at most it widens to fifteen feet. If this hits you will be severely cut and knocked back, and most genin elemental jutsu are dispelled when they are hit by this jutsu.

Grass sprouted below Sano's feet and he looked up in shock. Looking towards Aki, he cursed and began running. As he ran the grass exploding a few meters away from him and he was knocked off of his feet. He slowly stood up, looking for an epic pose, as the sand slowly fell off of his skin. He then located Zane in the air and smiled. "Perfect. Konoha Senpuu [Leaf Spinning Wind]!" Sano charged towards Zane and kicked upwards. He then followed up his kick by jumping upwards in order to appear behind Zane to follow up his combo.

Description: This taijutsu attack uses a combination of speed, strength, and the element of surprise. It is a perfect move to link up with other aerial attacks. For this taijutsu, the ninja first disappears using a really fast movement. The opponent, obviously, is totally confused. However, seconds later, the attacking shinobi appears just below their opponent, and by raising his dominant leg, kicks the enemy right on the chin. This would send the victim flying up into the air. The attacker can then proceed with an even more devastating follow-up attack. Leaf spinning wind is very hard to dodge, since the movement is so fast the opponent won't probably know about the attack until he gets kicked and is already high up in the air.

Kage Buyou [Leaf Shadow Dance]
Requirements: Konoha Senpuu [Leaf Spinning Wind]
Description: An attack which on its own does pretty much nothing yet can inflict great damage when in combination with other jutsus. This jutsu is an aerial set-up, meaning the enemy has to be in the air for it to fully function. Once in the air, the shinobi positions himself just below the opponent while in the air. Thus, the ninja becomes their opponent's shadow, leaving the opponent unable to escape from a follow-up attack.))

Aki gritted her teeth as Zane dodged the spikes. But it was somewhat rewarding to see Sano be sent back, the explosion had knocked most of the sand armor off of him. Eyes windening she launched herself to the side and doged using a series of backflips. Her feet landed on the ice causing her to slid backwards. As she slid back a few feet Aki swung her arm causing it to burst into pear petals covered in chakra razors. The swarm of sharp petals swirled and split to attack the two from both their sides.

Used:

Sakidasu: Habbiraki “To begin blooming: Half Bloom” Turns a part of the body into petals, the user typically has a specific part in which they use. With this they can control the petals to move forward at the opponent to attack with razor edged petals before returning to the body.

Zane grinned as he sensed Sano appear behind him, he got him. "You better hurry and do whatever you need to do, because those petals are heading straight towards us!"

"Yeah, yeah. Just hang on." Sano spun around and kicked Zane in the stomach. Sano seemed to hang there as Zane fell towards the glacier. "Suna Nawa (Sand Rope)." A rope of sand reached down and grabbed Zane before he hit the ground and Sano pulled him back violently. Sano then removed his leg using his chakra strings so that the blade hidden at the tip of his shin pointed towards Zane as he rushed towards Sano.

Sano dropped to the ground leaving his leg floating in air using his strings of chakra and looked towards the blades coming at him. He cursed again, and tried to think of a way to escape. Sano saw a chunk of ice falling from the glacier and an idea popped to his head. "Kawarimi no Jutsu!" Sano switched places with the chunk of ice and hid, still missing his leg.


((Basically, I punched Zane, pulled him back and stuck my leg that has a blade on it to where Zane would hit it if he can't get out of the way. My character is a human puppet like Zeramaru. Then, I substituted with a chunk of ice and hid.))

"Tch." She was disappointed to see that once the petals hit Sano that is was just a replacement. However, it was impressive to see the petals nearly dice the ice. Even if the petals made contact or not they were forced to swirl back and reform into her arm. She was stuck to using her blade for thirty seconds and by now the grass she'd created was withered and brown. Tentively she placed her hand on the hilt of the long dagger and scanned the area for Sano. Zane wasn't an issue for her right now last she'd noticed he had been falling and being rushed by the petals that were now her arm.

Zane gets kicked hard by Sano and rockets towards the ground. He would have hit the ground hard had Sano not pulled him with a string. Zane went straight back up and was heading back towards Sano when he pulled off his leg and held it out for Zane. "Gotta think fast!" Zane said as he was rushing towards the blade. "Fuuton: Shinkuutai Naihatsu (Wind Element: Air Pocket Bursts)!" Zane caused the air around Sano's leg to burst pushing the leg aside just in time. Zane finally landed on the snow pretty hard.
"Ugh....that was painful..." said Zane as he clutched his stomach, just as he noticed the petals about to come crashing down upon him Zane jumped to his feet and with one hand performed the handsigns, while his other hand still clutched his stomach. " Kaze no Yoroi (Armor of Wind)!" A whirlwind formed around Zane's body picking up the snow around him. Once the petals got in close, they became a part of the armor as they were picked up by the strong wind current flowing around Zane.

Kaze no Yoroi (Armor of Wind)
Description: The user utilizes his chakra and the wind around him to create a whirlwind around himself. The wind forms a circle around the user, five feet in radius, so ten feet in diameter. The wind picks up debris and acts as armour for the user. The wind armour lasts for five posts. Debris on the ground strengthens the armour and projectiles thrown towards the wind also become part of the armour. A taijutsu user is useless against the armour. A genin who gets caught in the wind will become part of the armour, Chuunin will be knocked back five feet, and a Jounin will be knocked back two feet. An elemental jutsu is useless against the armour, but if one is used against the armour it weakens it greatly. Two posts after an elemental jutsu is used against the Kaze no Yoroi the armour is dispelled.

Sano layed his head back and tried to think of a plan to retrieve his leg, then it happened. He remember his training from right before the fight and formed a tiger hand sign. Soon, the middle and index finger on both of his hands began to warm up and he melted the snow below him. Using the heat from his fingers he burrowed his way through the glacier to his leg. He grabbed it and reconnected it to his body and then looked towards Aki. He thought of using his Phoenix Flower Jutsu, but didn't want to risk the waste in chakra. So he sat down and formed a few hand seals. The dead grass around him soon began to raise up in a trance like motion and after he waited a moment, he opened his eyes and looked towards Aki and Zane. "You think that your little grass is going to be able to defeat me?" He egged them on hoping for them to let their guards down and fall for his genjutsu.

((-Katon: Ichi (Fire Release: One)
Description: The basic building block of a great many techniques down the line, this is presumably the very same skill that began the study of Katons. Molding their chakra through a simple seal of any choice, the user is able to focus it onto the tip of their index finger in the form of heat. With this, they can cut through things such as glass and rope with some difficulty. However, at this stage, control of one’s chakra is so minimal that this technique can only be used by one finger and essentially has no combat use.
-Katon: Ni (Fire Release: Two)
Description: This technique makes it so that after a user has molded enough chakra to gather heat into their finger they can now distribute it to both the index and middle finger (one hand), making it a somewhat viable option in combat now. However, jabs and strikes made through this method would simply burn through clothing and wouldn’t cause any substantial thereafter. In terms of raw searing strength, though, it allows the user to cut through even metallic string now.
-Katon: San (Fire Release: Three)
Description: At this stage of learning, users of this technique are expected to be quite adept at controlling the flow of chakra in their body. It is by this that they are now able to both create ample amounts of chakra and distribute to both hands (still only two fingers per hand). The actual heat effect of this technique, though, still hasn’t changed much from Katon: Ni. Also, awkwardly enough, the user is still unable to have the technique travel throughout one whole hand.

-Magen: Narakumi No Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Vision of Hell Technique)
Description: A low level illusion skill, which makes the opponent envision a very traumatic scene. After being put in some form of trance by leaves, grass, flower petals, and dust flying in front of the eyes, the target creates this vision himself. The jutsu only forces the target to think about the worst event possible for them, and then capitalizes on that by showing it happen. ))

Once Sano looked over to her Aki halfway unsheathed the dagger. She still had fifteen seconds untill she could use her chakra again. Her leg muscels tensed as she slid into a firmer stance and glared across at Sano as he began to use another jutsu. This one caused the grass to rise about him in a hypnotic motion. Furrowing her brow she tried to decipher the jutsu but found it hard to concentrate, like she was falling into a trance. Terriffied she attempted to avoid looking at Sano, but it was already too late. She'd fallen to the trap. She saw the most horrific site, Vrail dead and beaten. His body in shreds and nearly unrecognizable. Beside him lay Shiro and Shoku in no better of a condition. Her breath hitched and her heart raced. Aki could barely move, but some how she managed to slide her hand to the dagger blade and grip it like death. The searing pain caused the genjutsu to cancel. Enraged she gave Sano a look that killed. Tears began to roll down her face, "You b*****d!" She nearly screached and shot forward at Sano with her bloodied dagger in hand. Once within range she began a series of wild and deadly slahses at him.
