With the sand rope still firmly held in his grip, Sano was pulled towards Zane. So, Sano placed the rope between his ankles and held on with his feet as he formed handsigns. He smirked as he was pulled into the shield and began spinning. Sano's chest then swelled out and he blew out three balls of flame from his Mythical Flower Jutsu at separate intervals so that they would hit the armor at separate times. Still spinning, he released the remaining four at the same time aimed towards Zane at an excessive amount of force to expel them from his body.

Hey Zeramaru, I'm sorry to bother you but there's something that's been bugging me about my battle and I just wanted clarification. I'm not from Suna so I don't know any Sand jutsus, but the jutsus that Sano keeps doing don't make a lot of sense to me. First his sand shark description says that it can swim in sand, but I figured that underneath the ice is water, and I don't think the sand shark can do anything in water. And two, his sand arm says that it broke through the ice underneath me, again where there's water, so wouldn't it be made out of mud or something? And how is Sano doing this when all there is under the ice is water? Again I'm just wondering about it.

Under the ice is water yeah.
I am a sand ninja well was... and well the sand sharks get destroyed in water actually just about any sand jutsu gets broken when wet.
1st ask if he even brought any sand with him cause there is no sand in the village of snow...
2nd quote this post and post it.
3rd I will fail him if he keeps doing that cause he must understand that there are certain requirements for certain jutsus.

(Sorry I've been gone, I had a very hectic weekend. But basically I was confused about your sand techniques so I asked Havock and this is what he replied. Basically if you didn't bring sand with you then you can't use sand techniques because there's no sand in Snow.)

Zane was forced to dispel the shield of wind as Sano aimed four fireballs straight at Zane. Zane held out his forearms as to block out as much of the blasts as he could. Zane managed to withstand the first one, but the second attack knocked him back and fell backwards onto the snow. The last two fireballs flew over him as he was lying flat on his back.

((Crap...Sorry, forgot that we were on ice so I was thinking we were standing on the ground...But, yes, I brought sand with me, just forgot about the water messing up sand thing, sorry again. I realize there are requirements for the jutsu, the water had just slipped my mind. sweatdrop I'll make sure to remember my surroundings in the future...Sorry...))

Sano flew out of the shield as it was dispelled and slid across the thin ice. Sand flew everywhere as he saw Zane get knocked down by his jutsu. With a sly smirk on his face, Sano slowly rose and looked towards Zane. "You still in this? Or do I have to carry you back to the hall and tell all your friends you lost?" he prodded at Zane. That should make this more interesting. Now, what will he do?

"Tch, as if!" exclaimed Zane as he jumped to his feet. Suddenly the ice beneath him began to crack. As Zane looked down the ice beneath him broke and he was falling into the water, "Kawarimi no Jutsu!" Zane exclaimed as he switched places with his clone. The clone plunged into the water while Zane was standing atop of the ice facing Sano. "Mizu Peretto!" Zane took a deep breath and unleashed 3 water balls out of his mouth and lauched them at Sano.

((It's cool))

"Hehe, alright--WAH!" The ice shattered underneath Sano's feet and he plunged into the ice with the water bullets passing over him. Bewildered, Sano looked around at his new surrounding and regained his situational awareness. He then saw a shadow in the ice to the left of him and began swimming over towards the anomally. When he reached his location he took a minute to form some handsigns. The chakra began flowing through Sano's veins as he reached his hand up towards the ice. The thin layer of ice underneath Zane began to change in composition and sand began to fall through the water to the bottom of the lake. Realizing the possibility of freezing himself, Sano swam over to the hole left by Zane's clone and climbed out.

He slowly stood up and stripped his clothes off immediatly so that he would not be slowed down by the wet clothes. Sano took another moment to regain his composure and then looked over to the new hole in the ice.

((Meh...it was a big mistake I should have realized and I should have used more description with the sand. Eh, hopefully he won't fail me for it.))

Name: Muki Suna Kaishin (Inorganic Sand Conversion)
Description: By placing their hand against a solid object, the user of this technique can convert it to sand. Generally only inorganic objects may be converted, but at a higher rank, the user may also convert minor organic objects such as plants and tree's as well, though people and animals are obviously out of the question. The main purpose of this technique is to allow the user to completely destroy an object; once it has been turned into sand it cannot be returned to it’s normal state. The size of the object that may be transformed is dependant upon the user. While with low levels only fairly small objects could be converted to sand with any reasonable degree of speed, anything around the size of the users fist essentially, but at higher levels entire walls could be transformed to sand in an instant. Additionally, the hardness of the material being converted affects the time needed to convert it, as such while simple stones could be converted extremely quickly, metal would require a longer period of contact, making it typically unsuitable for use on weapons except in special circumstances.

Zane looked down once again and fell through the ice. Now both him and his clone were under the water. "Jesus it's freeeeezing!" he thought as he swam underneath the water. Luckily Zane was a good swimmer and could stay under for a little bit. Zane saw his clone and pointed out where Sano was standing. The clone agreed and jumped out of the water from the hole that the real Zane had just appeared from. "Over here puppet boy!" the clone exclaimed as a distraction while the real Zane popped his head out of the water from one of the hole that his clone had made. "Isonagi no Jutsu!" A claw shoots out of the water and breaks through ice in an attempt to grab Sano and catch him by surprise.

((Hehe. I've been waiting for someone to call me a puppet))

Sano looked over to the clone, obviously offended. "I...I'm not a puppet...I'M A REAL BOY!" Sano began charging towards the clone when he heard the water rushing under him. He stopped mid step and looked down and realized he was in trouble. Sano jumped into the air and the sand scattered around the ice from his Sand Rope began to shift and formed beneath his feet and he rose higher. He began to lose his balance as he rose into the air and fell onto his butt on the small platform. Sano let out a sigh of relief, now floating roughly 15 feet above the ice. He formed a few hand signs and tried to create the large hand of sand from before from the grouds on his waste line, but nothing happened. Panicked, Sano looked down to his belt and saw the small containers of sand dripping wet from his little adventure in the lake. Shaking his head, Sano focused his fire chakra into his the index and middle finger of each hand and began to dry his gourds for his next attack.

Name of Jutsu: Hawk of the Desert
Rank of Jutsu: D-Rank
Range of Jutsu: N/A
Jutsu's Element: N/A
Description: Sand control required. This is essentially a jutsu created by sand users that couldn't control the element of wind, but still wanted to fly. The user places small pads of sand under their feet to start and use those as initial place holders, causing the user to rise. Using this alone, the user is able to gently glide around, but only at low speeds. When the user wants to move onto the faster, they could try using the initial settings, but it would only end in failure. For higher speeds, they must lean forward and provide one large pad for the chest to keep them up and therefore taking off the need for the feet pads to provide balance and focus solely on the thrust. Additional control can be attaining by the user forming small spheres of sand in their hand to allow for sharper turning and rolling. Although handy to have, the user must practice a great deal or they will loose their balance and fall, which is why it is still limited in its speed.

Katon: San (Fire Release: Three)
Description: At this stage of learning, users of this technique are expected to be quite adept at controlling the flow of chakra in their body. It is by this that they are now able to both create ample amounts of chakra and distribute to both hands (still only two fingers per hand). The actual heat effect of this technique, though, still hasn’t changed much from Katon: Ni. Also, awkwardly enough, the user is still unable to have the technique travel throughout one whole hand.

"If I stay down here any longer I'll freeze to death!" Zane thought as he lunged upwards from the water and landed on the ice. "Jeez that's cold!" Zane exclaimed as he looked at his clone. "Puppet boy's up there!" the clone pointed out as Zane saw Sano to be what looked like heating up his gourds. "Heh, here I go!" Zane exclaimed as he ran towards Sano and pointed his palm downwards, "Okuridashi Kaze (Propelling Winds)" Zane's palm exploded with a wind current that sent him flying upwards into the sky above Sano, then with one hand he formed the handsings for the next attack, "Mizu no Yaiba!" Zane exclaimed as a katana made of complete water and sharp as steel formed in his right hand. "Game over!" Zane smirked as he swung his sword down upon Sano.

Okuridashi Kaze (Propelling Winds)
Description: Loosing a short blast of air from their hands, the user is able to propel themselves in the opposite direction with considerable force. This jutsu is ideally suited to Wind ninjutsu specialists, who often tend to favour avoidance of attacks rather than powerful defences, and can be used to either move very quickly to the side, or even propel themselves quite high into the air.

Mizu no Yaiba (Water Sword)
Description: Creates a sharp sword made of solid water in the user’s hand. As the user's control improves, he can manipulate the shape and size he/she wants the sword to have, from a tiny dagger to a massive decapitator sword. At the minimum requirements, the sword has minimal offensive power, able to make slight cuts and tears in the flesh of an opponent, and susceptible to high pressure (an opponent breaking the blade with a weapon of his own) and fire attacks.
Academy Level: The sword can be up to the size of a wakizashi, and is fragile, breaking under the pressure of weapon strikes against it and low level fire ninjutsu.
Genin Level: The sword can be up to the size of a katana, and is now as strong as a normal, metal blade. Strong Fire Ninjutsu can still destroy the blade, however.
Chuunin Level: The sword can be up to the size of a nodachi, and now cuts with the edge of a finely crafted blade. It can no longer be destroyed by any genin level fire ninjutsu and using it as a defensive sweep can negate academy level Fire ninjutsu.
Jounin Level: The sword can be up to the size of a cleaver, and is now incredibly durable and lethal. Advanced Chuunin level fire Ninjutsu is required to harm the blade, and defensively the blade can disperse up to genin level fire techniques.

Sano's head jerked up from his current task with a look a sheer disgust on his face. "What the Hell did I just say? I'm a real boy!!!" Still pissed off, Sano watched as Zane launched himself towards Sano. "Perfect." Sano jumped to the back of his small platform and waited for Zane to swing his water sword at him. The sword dug deep into Sano's chest, but if one was to look at his face, they would see he was still smiling. "Game over, indeed." Sano reached towards the sword attempting to grab hold of it and keep Zane with him. Then, Sano's fingertips flipped up and two pellets of poisonous gas flew towards his feet and exploded on the platform. Next, Sano raised his knee trying to connect with Zane's solar plexus forcing him to take a breath and inhale the poison. "I guess you shouldn't have made me mad."

Zane took the knee and gasped in pain, just as he was doing so he inhaled some of Sano's poison. Still trying to keep it together Zane let go of his sword with his left hand and looked at Sano right in the eyes and forced a handsign with his left hand.

Bouzenjishitsu no Jutsu (Stupification Technique)
Description: The user locks eyes with the target and forces a hand seal. For as long as the two can keep looking at each other without being distracted or obstructed, both cannot move. When the user blinks, it's also over.

"What the--" Sano couldn't move, and he didn't like it. He began losing control of the sand platform and it slowly sank back to the ground and Sano eyes filled with panic. What's he doing? This isn't some 'you kill me, I kill you' technique is it? No! Got to get free! Sano kept struggling to move, but failed horribly.
