Lord Eydvar Ok now for some fun! twisted In Bach's The Art of the Fugue the theme of all of the fugues except the unfinished final fugue are the same. In order what are the notes and the lengths of said notes in Contrapunctus I?
Erm. I'm going to assume you're talking about the notes of the theme. I don't have...the score...so I don't know what key this is in without doing some extensive search, so leeeet's just pretend it's in A minor, and let me see what I can do based on what this guy on youtube plays razz
*sees Youtube video same it's in D minor*
Okay, we'll pretend it's in d minor then.
D - A - F - D - C# - D E F - .GFE Half, Half, Half, Half, Half, Quarter, Quarter, Half tied to eighth, eighth, eighth, eighth.
Or some multiple of that.
