Daaaamn....what if it's an amulet or something that only belongs to the guards? Erasmus could have stolen it to disguise himself as a guard, sneak into the palace, etc.

I was thinking that perhaps there could be a precession of the queen.. or is it king? Whatever. A precession of that person and the guards to show that they'll be protecting the people or some other spiel and perhaps that's when Kiae, Ethin, and Esole can spot the guy or whatever. Just an idearr.
